Episode 23 - For the Sake of Superstition - The Failed Journey in Attempting to Find Evidence for Evolution Theory
Peace be upon you. Come, my brothers, let me tell you a story of those who want to prove their falsehoods by any means. How pitiful they appear as they move from one failure to another, with the truth pursuing them. But do not fear, we will not despair with them, rather, there is much humor in their story. So, join us.
In the previous two episodes, we saw how Darwin laid the foundations of his fantasies on the edge of a crumbling cliff, and his followers after him built upon them, only to collapse with more contradictions to reason and science. The issue is not about errors that were corrected and gaps that were filled, but rather about breaches that were widened, and a goat that even flew. And the theoretical amendments only increased the fantasies and contradictions to discoveries.
They say to you: But this theory has evidence, and after Darwin, people came to gather more evidence. Come, let us see the groups of alleged evidence.
The First Evidence: Fossils
According to Darwin, living organisms evolved from a common or few origins gradually and slowly. Therefore, it is assumed that we should see this gradual process in reality. However, in truth, there is a significant difference, huge gaps, and isolating boundaries among them. Where are the transitional creatures between reptiles and birds, for example? They do not exist in reality.
Darwin acknowledged that this contradicts his fantasies, so he compensated by imagining that this gradual process and transitional creatures existed in the past. Therefore, we should find their fossils and petrified bodies underground. There is no justification for this transition from the surface of the earth to beneath it. But never mind, let's go underground with Darwin.
What did Darwin imagine we would find? He imagined that in the deep layers of the earth, we would find fossils of primitive, simple-structured creatures. As we ascend through the layers of the earth, we would find fossils of extinct creatures with more complex structures representing transitional stages, until we find in the highest layers fossils of creatures that exist among us on earth today.
Darwin wrote these fantasies in his books and predicted that there should be an countless number of extinct transitional creatures buried in the layers of the earth. Here, a simple creature from which life began, we will find it in the deep layers. Every point on this line represents an extinct creature: here a creature, a creature, a creature, and so on... Then here a more evolved creature like the dinosaur... for example, but it became extinct long ago, so we will find it in very deep layers of the earth. While we will find countless transitional creatures between the dinosaur and birds, until we see the creatures among us today in higher layers and so on...
These were Darwin's dreams, what he wished to see to claim that his theory is correct. So what did Darwin actually find? He found everything that dashed his dreams.
First: A large number of extremely complex creatures suddenly appeared in what is known as the deep Cambrian layer of the earth, so much so that this sudden appearance was called the Cambrian Explosion. These creatures did not have a simpler common origin as Darwin dreamed, nor did they become extinct or evolve into more complex creatures, but they remain as they are to this day. And to understand the complexity of Cambrian creatures, it is enough for you, for example, to contemplate the eye of a fossilized trilobite (Trilobite) composed of hundreds of small, complex lenses that work in an integrated manner, and they remain as they are to this day.
Second: Darwin found that transitional creatures are not countless as his fantasy requires, but they do not exist. Therefore, all the evidence was against Darwin's fantasies. Did Darwin not know this? He did not ignore it. Perhaps some may think that these discoveries came after Darwin, but the truth is that they are from his time, and he spoke extensively about Cambrian creatures. He also wondered about the absence of transitional creatures, saying: "According to this theory, there must have been countless forms of transitional creatures in the past, so why do we not find them buried in countless numbers in the layers of the earth?"
Excellent. So, did you wake up from your dreams, Darwin? No!... But the fantasy must continue. Instead of Darwin acknowledging these admissions with the title "The Fossil Record Dashed My Dreams as the Above-Ground Did," he titled it in his book, "On the Imperfection of the Fossil Record" - meaning - the incompleteness of the fossil record. Incompleteness?! Okay, if we discovered any fossil after this! Does not reason say - oh Darwin - that we should interpret it according to the clear evidence that has been revealed to us? No! But Darwin would say to those after him: "Search for anything that can be interpreted in multiple ways to strike down these clear evidence, bring any straw to cover the sun's light from the eyes of the people."
Indeed, Darwin's loyal soldiers, after him, searched for the alleged transitional creatures, deluded that their teacher's fantasy requires countless numbers. So they searched for even one flying goat in any place to cling to. They moved from one failure story to another. Every time they claimed to have found a transitional creature, research came to show that this was a forgery or a lie, or a misinterpretation, in a funny way. Like the story of the flying dinosaur Archaeoraptor, Archaeopteryx, the coelacanth fish, then the coelacanth, and the Piltdown man's skull and Java man's bones, then the Lucy fossil, then her friend the Ida fossil, then the Ardipithecus fossil, and many, many more...
Their tongue says: "Do not listen to the evidence of the universe about Allah and misguide them, perhaps you will overcome." All of these and others, as we will explain in detail - by the permission of Allah - their falsity, their deliberate deception, or the distortion of their meaning one after another appeared. But after every lie was used for a period of time to revive the fantasy.
So that you do not be saddened - brothers - by this miserable scene and stories of failure, let's watch some of the comedic scenes performed by the stars of the Darwin fantasy series.
In 1922, the lovers of the fantasy found a tooth in Nebraska, USA. Yes, a tooth! They considered it an important piece of evidence for evolution, and they drew a semblance of a human on it, saying that it lived six million years ago. They gave it a scientific name, and the renowned journal Science published a peer-reviewed scientific article about this great discovery. However, after five years, it turned out that this tooth was a pig's tooth. The same journal Science then published a retraction of its previous article.
Then in 1979, the lovers of the fantasy found a bone and said, "We have found the evidence; it is a semi-human sternum that lived in the distant past." It was then revealed to be part of a dolphin rib, as the New Scientist magazine published four years later.
Then in 1982, three of the scientists, lovers of the fantasy, found part of a skull and rejoiced, "Here is the evidence finally!" They drew a semblance of a human on this part of the skull, saying that he died at the age of 17. They estimated that he lived between 900,000 to 1.6 million years ago. They named him Orce Man and determined his place in the alleged evolutionary ladder. This discovery was called "the discovery of the century"! A press conference was held, attended by prominent figures, and joy and celebration spread. But oh, what joy was not fulfilled! It turned out later that it was the skull of a small donkey. These people became a laughing stock for satirical magazines.
Thus, the lovers of the fantasy go in the plains and mountains, in the dumps, and in the cemeteries, searching for their origins in everything their feet tread: in the molars of pigs, the ribs of dolphins, and the skulls of donkeys, like a bankrupt lunatic who counts a spit as a dollar. All of this for the sake of the fantasy. This, in brief, is the story of the fossil evidence. And I remind you, brothers, that this episode is a quick overview of what we will detail in upcoming episodes - by the permission of Allah.
The Second Evidence: The Footprints of Chance in Useless Organs!
In his book "The Descent of Man," which he published after "The Origin of Species," Darwin mentioned numerous examples of atrophied, non-functional organs in the human body as evidence of evolution, calling them "vestigial organs." His logic was that since humans came about by chance, chance would have left its mark in its products: evolutionary remnants and traces from ancestors and animal forebears that no longer serve a function in the human body. It was as if Darwin had opened a door, and his followers rushed in, dissecting the human body piece by piece, searching for what? Searching for errors!
Until the German anatomist and Darwinist Robert Wiedersheim (Robert Wiedersheim) announced in 1893 his list of 86 atrophied organs in the human body that serve no purpose. To understand the extent of the ignorance that made them a laughing stock, among this list were the endocrine glands such as the pituitary gland (Pituitary Gland) and the pineal gland (Pineal Gland), because at that time, they knew nothing about the endocrine glands and hormones.
Their logic in this argument of ignorance: "We do not know the function of this or that organ in the human body, therefore, it has no function! Therefore, it must have come about through an unintended evolutionary process." The same method they used with fossils. Clear and obvious flaws they ignore. All the perfection and creativity in the body does not concern them, but they search for any straw to cling to.
Yet, science advanced and discovered the functions of these organs one by one. So, the coccygeal vertebrae are not useless, nor is the appendix. For example, the pituitary gland controls most of the body's hormones, and if it were lost, those who described it as "vestigial" would die. So, they went searching in other organisms for organs that serve no purpose, based on the assumption that nature preserves only what is necessary for survival. This is a shameful argument because it is an argument based on what they want to prove. While we believe in a Creator who instilled beauty in His creation, so even if some organs do not help with survival or reproduction, it is enough that they help the wise to realize that there is a Creator of beauty.
Yet, they continue to dig in everything, even in the physical constants of the universe, which are precisely adjusted to the furthest extent in a way that amazes them. As if they are saying: "O blind chance, you have favored us with your footprint in any corner of the universe." Then comes the response from the Book of Allah: "So look again: can you see any rifts? Then look again and yet again, your sight will return to you weakened and frustrated." [Al-Mulk: 4,3]. So, dig for an error as you wish.
They failed with what is beneath the earth and above the earth, so they went digging in genetic material, perhaps they would find their delusion there. -Personally- among the things that most convinced me of the greatness of Allah is contemplating the wondrous mechanisms in the world of the nucleus in genetic material. But thus, the cosmic verses are like the Quranic verses: "But as for those who believe, it has increased them in faith, and they rejoice. And as for those in whose hearts is a disease, it has added to their filth to their filth." [At-Tawbah: 125,124].
The Third Evidence: Genetic Material (DNA)
The lovers of myth said: "We found it! Genetic material (DNA) is nothing but a small part of it are working genes, while most of it is 'junk,' meaning trash, without function, remnants of random evolution. If there is a Creator who created man, why would He put 'junk' DNA in him?"
Then, when the many vital functions of this "junk" DNA, which they previously described as "trash," were discovered, and it turned out to be a source of treasures, as expressed by Professor Ewan Birney (Ewan Birney), head of the Encode project, which included 400 gene scientists, and it became clear that the "trash" is actually the Darwinists' understanding and their treatment of Allah's perfect creation, they said: "Dawkins will always say that this is exactly what Darwinism had in mind." It is stubbornness in the pursuit of myth.
And in the coming episodes - by Allah's permission - we will detail their false claims about genetic material, such as the percentage of similarity between human genetic material and chimpanzees, and the lie of the fusion of chromosomes, so that you may learn how these people have misused science, misused reason, and misused themselves for the sake of myth.
The Fourth Evidence: Morphological Similarity
The fourth piece of evidence, my brothers, which Darwin relied on heavily, is the existence of some morphological similarities in the external form and anatomical similarities between some living organisms. Considering similarity as evidence of a common origin is not a scientific or logical premise. And it is enough to refute its significance the phenomenon of the severe similarities between marsupial animals and their placental counterparts.
A placental animal is one that completes the development of its fetus in the placenta of the womb. While the marsupial completes its growth in a pouch like that of a kangaroo. According to the Darwinists, marsupial animals separated from placental ones in ancient times, such that each developed a method of carrying, nursing, and internal organs that are greatly different from the other. Therefore, for example, the placental squirrel is closer in branching, classification, and the evolutionary tree of kinship to the whale, the elephant, the gazelle, and all known placental mammals than it is to its marsupial counterpart, the squirrel. And the marsupial squirrel is more closely related to the kangaroo and the koala than it is to the placental squirrel that resembles it in form. Say the same about the wolf, the dormouse, and the wombats, both placental and marsupial, and others, and others...
What does this mean? It means that morphological similarity and anatomical proximity have no evolutionary significance. Animals that are similar in form are very different in their physiological systems and their carrying methods, and those that are similar physiologically are very different in their forms.
What did the Darwinists do to get out of this predicament? They proposed the model of convergent evolution (Convergent Evolution) or parallel evolution (Parallel Evolution). Grand names, aren't they?! As long as we give the nonsense a name, we have added scientific legitimacy to it. But wait! This demolishes your theory from the ground up! No! It's over, we have amended the theory and given it a name on the principle: "Give it a name, let it pass." Remember this well, my brothers, because it will happen to us often. A phenomenon that refutes your theory? No problem! Give the theory a new name; to make the listener feel that you are aware of the existence of this phenomenon, but that you see no threat to your theory in it, but rather you have amended the theory and found a solution. And the truth of the matter is that you have not found a solution, but rather invented a new false name for the sake of superstition.
So what is the idea of convergent evolution? It is a funny idea, meaning that the random mutations that created placental organisms were repeated with the same randomness and details, thus creating marsupial organisms randomly with the same path, order, and organization, even though there is no limit to their number! No comment!
So when they tell you: "Modern discoveries are challenges that can be modified in the theory of evolution to accommodate them and align with them without criticizing the general structure of the theory," they are talking about such modifications. Modifications in the hole of the needle of superstition in an attempt to insert the vast universe into it.
The Fifth Evidence: Embryonic Similarity
In the year 1868, the German zoologist Ernst Haeckel began publishing drawings that he claimed to have observed under the microscope of human embryos and other animal embryos, showing a great similarity between them in stages that he claimed were early in pregnancy. Darwin was delighted with this discovery and attributed the credit to Haeckel for the spread of the idea of evolution in Germany as in the "Encyclopaedia Britannica."
Although similarity does not mean unity of origin at all, the rope of lies is also short, and Haeckel is not the only one who owns a microscope. Therefore, other scientists doubted Haeckel's drawings and raised an uproar against him until he was forced to admit in the year 1909 that there were forgeries in these drawings in a letter to "Allegemeine Zeitung." And even in his confession, Haeckel lies when he says that a small percentage of his pictures (6-8) percent only are indeed fabricated, and what forced him to do so is to fill the gaps due to the difficulty of obtaining precise and complete pictures of the embryos.
It is astonishing that about a century and a half has passed since Haeckel's blatant lie, and the lie is still being recycled tirelessly and without boredom in thousands of school, university, and scientific books, as it is without a shred of shame. Even the Darwinist Stephen Gould said in his book "Natural History": "We should feel astonishment and shame; because of a century of stupid recycling that led to the continuation of these drawings in a large number, if not the majority of modern books."
These books and references, my brothers, are the same ones from which a new edition is published every year or two in an effort to update the information. And in our courses, we find it a betrayal of science to teach our students therapeutic guidelines, for example: Guidelines for the year 2015 if there are new guidelines issued in 2018. While they remain on a lie whose smell has been foul for a long time, for the sake of superstition.
And we may ask: If evolution is indeed the secret of life, why do its supporters find nothing but lies and recycling of lies to support it? Why do they apply with it the saying of Joseph Goebbels, the Nazi propaganda minister: "Lie and lie and then lie until people believe you, then lie more until you believe yourself"?
When some Muslim children parrot, unfortunately, that there are thousands of pieces of evidence for evolution, it is of such evidence that they speak. However, and as a matter of scientific integrity, we must mention one line of discoveries that actually agree with Darwinism. They are the discoveries of Photoshop and cinematic photography in Hollywood, which the Darwinists resorted to, just as a failure resorts to hallucinogens to live in his own imaginary world. Discoveries that weave a complete being from a few bones, with its flesh, its meat, its eyes and hair, and the wrinkles of its face, then practice normalization with the superstition in the media and curricula to make you feel that you are in front of historical facts.
The young man who searches for a girl with certain specifications and does not find her, imagine him returning after years of searching to his home and drawing the girl of his dreams, and reciting poetry to the picture, lamenting. The task of these people is more difficult; because the girl of their dreams is the flying goat. They resorted to Photoshop, after everything in the universe screamed in their faces: "You failures!" They were unable to support the collapsing legs of Darwin's table, which they had loaded with a very heavy load, loading all living organisms on it. So they tried in vain to take from the observations of the universe loaded on the table and turn them into lists that support their table. But the correct science in every time stings their hands and says: "Do not try, you failures! These observations are on you, not for you."
You may say, brother: If the superstition of evolution is failing in this way in front of the clearest cosmic truth that living organisms have a wise Creator, if that is the case, why do many people believe in it?
