Episode 46 - Why Do Some Followers of Adnan Ibrahim Become Atheists? Critical and Important
Peace be upon you. In the previous episode, we explained why the theory of evolution conflicts with Islam and mentioned various directions taken by those who claim the possibility of reconciling it with Islam. One of them is Dr. Adnan Ibrahim, who began in 2014 to publish a series on the theory of evolution, promoting the theory in all its aspects: that organisms came through random changes and blind selection, without intention, resulting in design flaws and useless members.
How did he manage to convince Muslims with this talk? And how does this lead them step by step to disbelief, doubt, and confusion? This is what we will learn today, so stay with us...
Adnan Ibrahim's Style in Promoting the Theory of Evolution
Dr. Adnan Ibrahim began his series under the title that he wants his followers to understand the theory of evolution so that they do not reject it out of ignorance, and so that they do not fall behind the Western scientific community and become a laughing stock to others. Based on this, he said that the first part of his series would be a review of the evidence and arguments in favor of the theory, and in the second part, the criticisms and oppositions.
"We want to rid ourselves of ignorance at least when we talk about this topic, whether we agree or disagree." He makes you feel that the evidence to be presented for this theory can be reconciled with Islam, so come and listen, and do not be afraid!
"We will not rush; we will not burn the events and say now what we have seen in evolution itself, the theory may be correct even religiously and there is no problem with it, and it does not cause any fatigue for us by the will of God, but this in its time - as I said -. You come and open your heart and start listening, thirsty for the reconciliation between science and faith, and you see the man assuring you that God's creatures came by chance and randomness, with foolish design flaws, and that those who say all this are great scientists. - How?! I seek God's forgiveness! He says to you: be patient! We will reconcile this with Islam in the second series, but until then; I assure you that God has a role in the appearance of creatures.
"God's method in creation is development; so it is not - what - evolution 'Evolution'; but what? Development 'Evolization'. - We can call it that - and not ascension but rather promotion. Who develops? God, who promotes? God."
The myth that creatures came by chance is a trivial and foolish thing in the mind of every rational person, but when it is said: God has a role in the process, this gives the myth some credibility and saves it from falling in people's minds. The one who looks at it from afar says: there is some rationality in the matter; so you see someone saying: perhaps God created the first cell, and left evolution to produce creatures from it, perhaps God directs evolution in a general way. The presence of the word (God) in all of this softens the sharpness of the condemnation and ridicule of the myth; as long as the process is done within God's decrees in a general way, what is the problem?
Therefore, our friend sees that: "God's method in creation is development." Come, let's see how he describes this method: "The theory of evolution, when you read it and delve into it and read its literature, it is attractive, an attractive theory, with charm and beauty, it enchanted me since I was a small boy, brothers, and I read (The Origin of Species), it enchanted me, do you know why? It talks about continuity, about continuity, about selection, yes, it's stupid like this but its results are intelligent, even though this selection is stupid! On the other hand, come, let's see his words about God's method in this creation - according to his saying - which is natural selection or natural selection: "Selection is of course blind, what is it? It is a tinkerer, (in English) the blind tinkerer 'blind tinkerer' 'thinkaling' what does it mean? The tinkerer, the repairman, and I told you in a previous episode, one of the biggest analogies that evolutionists rely on to illustrate the work of natural selection is that it is a tinkerer. Natural selection is not a designer, brothers, it is not a designer; there is no design in natural selection, and therefore it is indeed blind, certainly blind, not strong, rational, and intentional, and you know that it has a principle and a law it works on, a plan and a work program; no, no, what you are talking about is not that, never."
If we and the creatures came through this blind, sightless repairman who does not know what he is doing, do not be surprised when you hear our friend say: "Therefore, therefore, there are flaws in creation, meaning you will find even in the composition of man there are flaws, in the composition of animals there are flaws, you will say: I seek God's forgiveness! There are, there are flaws, and it means that until now, it is not proven except that they are flaws 'imperfections' imperfections, incomplete things, incorrect, not in their place. And yet Adnan Ibrahim tells you to make you believe that the myth does not conflict with faith: "What is the problem if God wants to create species, and to breed some from others through the method of natural selection?! There is no problem at all!"
What is the problem?! Ask the one who asked the question if it is said to you that you use in your work a stupid, blind method without design, plan, or work program that leads to flaws, incomplete things, and not in their place, would you accept it for yourself? {And they attribute to Allah what they hate, and their tongues utter the lie that they will have the best}. [An-Nahl:62] Look, how ugly the explicit statement is that the speech leads to, that God created by randomness in the dark without a goal! Exalted is Allah above what they say.
Darwin and Adnan Ibrahim: Similarity in Style
The surprise, my brothers, is that the method which Adnan Ibrahim uses to mention an unknown role for God in the appearance of creatures, to promote the myth of randomness and chance, is nothing but a clone of what Darwin did before. Using contradictory and conflicting phrases is also a repetition of Darwin's style. And the Messenger of God, peace be upon him, was truthful when he said: "You will follow the ways of those before you" (Sahih al-Bukhari).
How did (Darwin) deceive people into thinking that his myth does not contradict the acknowledgment of a Creator? I sought the places where (Darwin) mentioned the Creator in his book (On the Origin of Species), and it was clear that there was a state of contradiction in describing the actions of this Creator. Was this deceit from (Darwin) practicing deliberate confusion and ebb and flow to gradually prepare people to accept his myth? Or was he personally suffering from confusion, bewilderment, and psychological struggle? It does not concern us. What concerns us is: revealing that the most foolish and stupid idea in history infiltrated the minds initially under the cover: the Creator has some role until the minds accepted it and their logic and reason were corrupted; and they moved towards disbelief gradually.
In the conclusion section of his book (On the Origin of Species) - the first edition - Darwin wrote: "From the similarities, it may be that all the organic creatures that have lived on this earth have descended from a single primitive form into which life was breathed." Life was breathed into it?! - Who breathed it, Darwin? - The Creator. - Fine, you say this. - Okay, I will add it for you in the appendix. The publisher says: "The following additions and changes, which were prepared by the author for this edition, were received too late to be placed in their appropriate places."
One of these additions: an amendment to the mentioned sentence from "life was breathed into it" to "life was breathed into it by the Creator" (by the creator). And (Darwin) maintained this phrase: "by the Creator" in the subsequent editions of his book. - Thank you, sir, what did the Creator do after that? - No, that's it, his role ended at this point. - How?! Does this mean, Darwin, that the Creator did not create creatures with intention and will?! - Never. - Fine, perhaps you mean then that the Creator at least set a general plan for the formation of creatures, meaning he left chances to cause changes; and natural selection chooses, with the Creator's knowledge of what this will all lead to in the end, isn't that so? (Darwin) never, there was no plan for creation "plan of creation" nor even general purposes or ultimate goals for creation "general proposition" - meaning no one intended for creatures to be produced in this manner; chance × chance. He tells you: yes.
But wait! Here is (Darwin) saying in the first edition of his book in the year (1859): "We must assume that there is a power that monitors with constant interest every small random change." Who is this power?! There is no doubt that he means the Creator. Two years passed, during which minds absorbed the foolishness of the formation of creatures by chance as long as all this happens according to the Creator's careful and interested observation. Then Darwin changes the phrase two years later in the (1961) edition to: "We must assume that there is a power in parentheses (natural selection) that monitors with constant interest every small random change." And in the (1969) edition, he stated clearly: "We must assume that there is a power represented by natural selection or the survival of the fittest that monitors with constant interest every small random change."
Therefore, according to Darwin, the Creator has no relation to creation - but wait! (Darwin) did not deny that the Creator created nature, so perhaps his intention is that nature is an agent of God in wise and intended creation? Never! But (Darwin) mentioned that many naturalists consider nature a manifestation of the Creator's plan. And he considered that this assumption adds nothing to our information.
And here is an example of (Darwin's) insistence at any cost that nothing was created with intention. Alfred Wallace "Alfred Wallace" was one of the first to speak of natural selection, and (Darwin) considered that he and (Wallace) were working together to produce the theory. (Wallace) wrote in an article about properties and compositions in humans, which are unlikely to have appeared by natural selection, focusing on the brain and that it seems there is a power that directed evolution in specific directions for specific purposes. And he used the phrase (in English) higher intelligence "Higher Intelligence" that guided evolution for nobler purposes. When this article was published, Darwin was angry and wrote beside Wallace's opinion: "No" (in English) no, with large letters and exclamation marks! And he sent to Wallace saying: "I fear that you are killing my child and your child completely!" meaning the theory of evolution. As if he is saying to Wallace: whose guidance?! whose purposes?! whose intelligence?! Understand, Wallace, this is what I want to completely deny. The goal of all my theory is to limit the role of the Creator and deny the Creator's role. By your indication of the Creator's intervention, you are demolishing the theory from its foundation and canceling what I have done for it.
Fine, (Darwin), you rejected Wallace's words, do you have an alternative explanation for the brain that Wallace focused on? No, of course not, but (Darwin) himself expressed that the question of the brain and the reliability of the mind confuses him, where he said: "I am always haunted by a terrible doubt as to whether the convictions of the human mind - which itself has developed from the minds of lower creatures - have any value or deserve the least trust." Meaning: (Darwin) himself realized that his myth leads to questioning the credibility of the mind, and thus puts us in circles devoid of circular reasoning, where we have to believe in a mind that is nothing but operations of a brain that came by chance, just because this mind told us to believe in it. And this is a problem that makes everything (Darwin) wrote completely valueless; because they are illusions of a mind that has no credibility. Nevertheless, (Darwin) insists that the brain did not come with intention.
Meaning, in the end, (Darwin), the role of the Creator is limited to the first cell? Even this, (Darwin) cast doubt on it, as he stated in his correspondence that the first creature may have arisen spontaneously in a warm pond, so he had no breather of life, no breathed life, nor anything; matter × matter. As if Darwin wanted to loosen the divine grip in his conception of the universe little by little, -God is far above that-, so Darwin played with words, and proceeded in gradual steps, and during all this, (Darwin) retains some phrases that make believers feel that there is a Creator that he is on their side, that he is one of them, and that he acknowledges some role for the Creator.
Compare all of this to the statements of his student (Adnan Ibrahim), who considers random changes and blind selection to be the style of the Creator, then describes this style as foolishness! Then he says to you: "God wanted to create creatures." Then he denies any purpose for creation and insists that it is nothing but blind chance. Well, the matter is clear then, that (Darwin) opposes faith in the Creator and that he is not an objective scientist, no need to suspect ill, but he only says all of this out of glorification of the Creator, and exoneration of the Creator from any defect or flaw.
Justifying "Flaws in Creation" and Purifying Allah
How?! Let's first look at the student, then we'll see the teacher... "Now, the behavioral or developmental psychologist cannot explain to us why these birds have wings but do not fly? Does Allah - glorified and exalted be He - create something in vain? Create something without a 'function', without purpose, without importance, without a goal? God forbid! Therefore, you must admit that Allah - glorified and exalted be He - the Creator did not create these birds. Of course, we have already addressed the joke of wings without benefit in detail in the episode (The Cocktail), which makes anyone who repeats it now like a parrot sticking its head in the sand - if he is fair. We have also responded to much more of what Adnan Ibrahim claimed, so see what our friend did: he brought you examples of flaws in creation - according to his claim - as if they are things taken for granted. Then he made you feel that there is no way for you to purify Allah from error except by denying creation and attributing these errors to randomness and chance, just as his teacher Darwin appeared before with the appearance of the one who purifies the exalted Creator from resembling creatures, saying: "It is difficult to avoid comparing the eye to the telescope. We know that this tool - the telescope - has reached perfection through long, continuous efforts from the highest levels of human intelligence, and we - by nature - infer that the eye was formed in a somewhat similar way, but can this inference be presumptuous? Do we have any right to assume that the Creator works with mental capacities similar to humans? How do you assume this in the Creator?! Shame on you! The Creator is greater than to create in this way; if man makes the telescope intentionally and willingly, then the Creator creates through randomness and blind selection over millions of years. His creation is full of errors; design errors and useless members, and he did not intend to create anything, nor does he have anything to do with creation at all! This is what you must believe so as not to be presumptuous towards the Creator - according to Darwin."
Under the pretext of purifying Allah from error, Adnan Ibrahim takes it easy to mock Allah's creation and cites to you the words of the quacks of false science who criticize Allah's creation, claiming that thereby he does not criticize Allah's creation, but on the contrary, he criticizes the creation of randomness, blindness, and chance, which is Allah's way of creation, and understand it, you. Do you remember, brothers, our talk about the eye and the beauty of its design, and how doctors who are followers of superstition themselves refuted in their research the claim of errors in the design; the design of the eye, and they themselves mocked the claim that the light-sensitive cells should have been in front if it were designed. Our friend does not care about all of this. But what matters to him is the words of his companions who criticize Allah's creation: "The human eye, which many non-specialists think is an example of ingenious design, is admirable, inspiring, amazing! They think this! But the specialists see something completely different." Meaning, you poor thing, you think the eye is wonderful because you are not a specialist, come and listen to what the specialists say!
"Regardless of the topic of evolution and non-evolution, this science itself, and this has been known since the nineteenth century, the great German physicist Hermann Ludwig Ferdinand von Helmholtz is known as a physicist. But - unfortunately - the common people are ignorant that he was a scientist in biology, and a scientist in psychology. His contributions to both sciences are greater and more important than his contributions to physics. Meaning, this is a universal scientist, more universal in physics than in biology, and in psychology or more than that - forgive me - more than that in biology and in psychology."
Of course, this is always the style of Adnan Ibrahim when he wants to mention to you a foolish statement by one of the priests of false science, so he must inflate and exaggerate it until you surrender, and humble yourself before this giant, even if he says something you see with your own eyes is foolish. What did this great universal scientist say? "He has a famous statement, of course, which the evolutionists rely on and build upon - meaning - to ridicule the idea of design and the ingenuity of the eye and the great craftsmanship in the eye - Helmholtz says: 'If I went to my opticians - optical - and gave me a device made with the efficiency of the eye, like the eye, I would scold him for his negligence and lack of craftsmanship, and return his merchandise to him, saying take it, you and it have failed, what is this?! Therefore, their words are not an exaggeration, nor a lie - of course - nor deception, no, no, it is only daring, they dared to say the truth according to Adnan Ibrahim. Dawkins, whom we have clarified many models of his lies and forgery of science in the pursuit of combating faith in the existence of the Creator, and convincing people that God is just an illusion. Adnan Ibrahim says about him: "A scientist - glory be to God - you disagree with him, you agree with him, the man is a scientist, and he has the mentality of a scientist; and the feelings of a scientist, he worships science, rejoices in science, is happy with science, something unnatural." If Dawkins is a scientist, then believe him when he says about the giraffe's laryngeal nerve: "Why is this nerve so long? This long loop that - it seems - is a foolish, stupid loop - meaning - there is no need for it, why did he do this?" Beware of getting angry or doubting the man's intention, here he says in the same context: "Long and indeed returning - there is no god but Allah - and returning to the larynx" it is a foolish, stupid loop for him but there is no god but Allah, glory be to God. And he says about the spine: "What do you say? Robin Williams because this is not a design, this is an evolutionary path, a foolish mess this is until now, not good - meaning -" And we have also shown you in the episode (The Truth of Sleep) regarding his statement about the posterior bones in the whale: "Of course, these do not benefit at all according to the consensus of biologists." We have shown that biologists have explained in detail the necessity of these bones for reproduction, more than (130) years ago, meaning they do not benefit the whales except in the survival of their species and preventing their extinction.

Adnan Ibrahim searches for any statement by the fools of false science, in which they describe creation as foolishness, and he mentions their words as if they are science, even though these claims are refuted by detailed scientific research by people who are followers of evolution themselves, as we have shown repeatedly. And of course, he does not forget to begin his lectures with: "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. All praise is due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, his companions, and those who support him. Glory be to You, we have no knowledge except what You have taught us. Indeed, it is You who is the All-Knowing, the Wise. O Allah, teach us what benefits us and benefit us with what You have taught us, and increase us in knowledge. My beloved in Allah, brothers and sisters, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings."
So, be at ease, all this mockery and ridicule of Allah's creation is a lesson of faith, and it is possible to reconcile it with faith in Allah. The Alleged Atheist's Guide: The Lenski Experiment
Adnan Ibrahim makes you feel that atheists have strong evidence that is difficult to refute, such as the Lenski experiment by Richard Eimer Lenski. And we explained to every rational person that this experiment is a great proof of God's creation who perfected everything, and of the precision in every corner of the universe from the smallest creature to the largest creature, and that this experiment is like everything in the universe an embarrassing predicament for atheists, not for us the believers in the Creator, as Adnan Ibrahim portrays.
It is painful -brothers- that before starting the series of episodes about the myth, I was talking to a doctor who told me that he admires Adnan Ibrahim and his ideas. I wanted to show him a model of forgery by talking about this experiment and explaining Lenski's research in the journal Nature. I said to him: Do you see the promoter? The doctor was silent. I said to him: The promoter! Do you know it? He said to me: No, honestly. Of course, brothers, the promoter and its function are mentioned in the basics of biology and biochemistry in the first years in universities for medical, pharmaceutical, and biology students and others from the ABCs of science. This doctor is in one of the most prestigious hospitals here, and yet he is ignorant of the promoter! And he is deceived by Adnan Ibrahim's words, then people say: Doctors in prestigious hospitals believe in evolution! How painful it is to see ignorant people -completely- of these sciences commenting after every episode of our episodes objecting to my involvement, as a sheikh creationist -as they were taught- in these sciences. Although these commentators do not know anything and do not understand anything about these topics, except that their minds have been filled with the myths of pseudoscience and they have developed immunity against understanding and learning because they are ignorant, and they do not know that they are ignorant.
The Impact of Adnan Ibrahim's Style on Faith

Adnan Ibrahim has broadcast his doubts over more than thirty episodes, justifying this by saying: "I also hope that those who are doubting, meaning that the dear brothers and sisters understand that until now, as I have told you, I am embodying the role of what? The role of a supporter of evolution, a believer in evolution. I want to embody this role completely as if I am a true evolutionist and announce and present with all honesty and scientific impartiality the evidence and proofs and indications of the evolutionists. Therefore, some people should not rush us, and start saying: If you are an evolutionist, what do you say about such and such in the Book of God? What do you say about Adam? This empty talk; this is an unscientific style." He embodied the role of the evolutionists, as he put it, and broadcast all their lies as if they were science, ridiculed those who opposed them, and sowed seeds of doubt in the hearts of his followers, then left them.
Good, the month of Ramadan comes to the young man who was convinced by what Adnan Ibrahim says, and for the first time after his conviction, the deceived person begins a new recitation of the Quran. He comes to the saying of Allah the Almighty: "Is then He who creates like him who creates not? Will you not then remember?" [An-Nahl:17] and His saying: "Do they not then look at the camels, how they are created?" [Al-Ghashiyah:17] The deceived person says to himself: What are you boasting about, O Lord?! It is randomness and blind selection over billions of years; what is the sign of greatness in this creation?! Randomness creates?! "Does this happen?! Unfortunately, it happens. "It happens and we have seen it, and we - well - we have confirmed that it happens."
The deceived person comes to the saying of Allah the Almighty: "Those whom you call upon besides Allah are not able to create even a fly, even if they were to gather for it" [Al-Hajj:73]. He says to himself: True, but give the matter millions of years and the fly will be formed by random mutations without the need for a creator. "-Does this happen?! -Unfortunately, it happens." "They said just as in millions of years, very small changes occur that accumulate until they become, after millions of years, dramatic, wide, and large changes."
The deceived person comes to the saying of Allah the Almighty: "And in the earth are signs for those who are certain, and in yourselves. Then will you not see?" [Adh-Dhariyat:20-21]. He says to himself: Signs of what? Everything on earth is the result of the accumulation of coincidences, and as for my soul, it contains bad design and useless members! "I seek forgiveness from Allah in this! There are flaws in it, and it is not yet established except that they are flaws, 'Imperfections,' flaws in things that are incomplete, incorrect, and not in their proper place." Allah the Almighty in His written signs - the Quran - refers to His visible signs - the universe and life - to indicate His greatness and power. And that this is science and those who say it are scientists, one of whom is "a great scientist whose studies are very beautiful, very strong, and contain originality. Of course, we have a great and very famous scientist." Instead of the signs that speak of the perfection of creation being a call to faith, they have become, for the deceived person, signs in which there is doubt from a scientific point of view; because they say that creation is perfect, and it is not perfect. "Have you not seen those who have exchanged the favor of Allah for disbelief and have made their people dwell in the abode of ruin?" [Ibrahim:28]
With this mentality, the deceived person reads many verses, such as: "Indeed, We have created every thing with a measure" [Al-Qamar:49], "And every thing with Him is by measure" [Ar-Ra'd:8], "Who has perfected everything that He created" [As-Sajdah:7], "And He has created every thing and determined it precisely" [Al-Furqan:2], "The work of Allah, who has perfected every thing" [An-Naml:88], "And the earth We have spread out and placed therein firm mountains, and caused to grow therein of every thing in pairs" [Al-Hijr:19], "Blessed is Allah, the best of creators" [Al-Mu'minun:14]. The deceived person then asks himself: How has He perfected every thing He has created, and perfected every thing? What about the many scientific examples of bad design? How is every thing measured, and there are useless members? What interpretation can I interpret these verses with so that they agree with scientific facts. Our friend the deceived person could have done the opposite and said: Therefore, the theory of evolution is false, but he has been devoted in his mind over the past months that it is a fact that cannot be avoided, it has evidence, and the religious text must be subjected to it, not the opposite. This was accompanied by a psychological and civilizational defeat for him, and a reluctance to his Islamic identity and what is related to it.
Then our friend moved on to the question: Why do I invite the atheist to believe in God? What should I invite him to look at and ponder to reach God? To the creatures?! The atheist can simply answer me: Randomness and coincidence did all this. Our friend began to think about leaving Islam! But wait a moment! Remember that there is still a role for God, for matter must have a creator. The basic elements that randomness and blind selection worked on must have a creator. And the theory of evolution does not explain the finding of this matter from nothing. Our friend's hesitation did not last long until he discovered that there are scientists who have also solved for him the mystery of the creation of the universe and matter from nothing, such as Hawking "Stephen Hawking". This Hawking is also: "Hawking is an outstanding scientist, an exceptional scientist, and where are we compared to Aristotle?! And where are we compared to Hawking?! We are of no importance to them, we are nothing but a date stone in the roots of tall palm trees." But this Hawking is an atheist, and he says that the universe created itself by itself. Should I come out and ridicule Hawking and his likes, and say that they are stubborn, priests of false science? Excuse me! Who are you? What is this nonsense you are in?! What do you open and what do you burn, you fool! Go and look for your livelihood! You are hungry! You are naked! You are tired! You do not know how to judge your condition! You come to threaten me in the world, what have you presented to the world?! You have presented this: skinning, slaughtering, and blowing, and they are presenting to us this microphone that I am speaking into, and the YouTube that I will upload this sermon to, and the camera that is recording, and these lights and the ventilation we are in, everything, everything we are in, they have presented it" in the manner of Adnan Ibrahim in consolidating psychological defeat among Muslims and making them feel inferior to the smart, educated Western master.
By the way, contemporary Muslim scientists do not exist in Adnan Ibrahim's series: "The great minds of the Muslims have become extinct, unfortunately, the Muslims have become extinct." Extinct! Of course, Adnan Ibrahim did not say in his eulogy for Hawking that he is correct in his denial of God, but he magnified him in our deceived friend, making the existence of God a metaphysical philosophical issue that is not easy to understand. Hawking may be excused; he tried and made a mistake, and so did Darwin: "A man of sincerity, a pure man, a simple, honest, straightforward man, an amazing thing, not like this deceitful man, I told you an admirable personality! This man, if it became clear to him in a way that convinced him that God exists, is the Creator and Designer, he would have proclaimed it, and would have immediately renounced his theory. But all that became clear to him made him stand bewildered, saying, 'I do not know! I do not know!' The evidence for the existence of God may not be convincing to the honest, straightforward, truthful man; while the atheists have strong evidence according to Adnan Ibrahim.
As a result of all this, the logical rules of our friend, who followed Adnan Ibrahim, have completely collapsed, his soul has been defeated, and his mind has been transformed enough to accept this theory as well; the theory that the universe does not need a Creator but created itself by itself. Therefore, our friend no longer has any reason to hold on to the idea of the existence of a Creator, or at least Islam has become a possibility, and the existence of God has become a possibility, and other viewpoints deserve respect. Of course, we remind those who did not follow the previous episodes that we have given a detailed scientific response to much of what Adnan Ibrahim conveys from the false priests of science as if it were science.
Summary and Warning
This is the story of many young people who left the priests of false science and their Arab soothsayers who mislead them with logical fallacies and psychological tricks of false science. It all started with changing the names and claiming that Darwin's myth is science, and then grafting the tree of faith in the Creator with Darwin's tree, under the title: "We only want goodness and success" [An-Nisa:62]. We do not want our youth to leave Islam if they feel that there is a conflict between science and faith.
Okay, and what is your solution? Atheism in the names and attributes of Allah; meaning, altering them from their original meaning. Atheism in that Allah is the Creator, the Originator, the Fashioner, and atheism in the Lordship of Allah over His creation, His encompassing of His creation, and His perfection of His creation. Allah the Most High says: "And to Allah belong the best names, so invoke Him by them, and leave [the company of] those who practice excess in His names." [Al-A'raf:180]. That is, they alter them from what they were created for. "And leave those who practice excess in His names; they will be recompensed for what they used to do." [Al-A'raf:180]. Thus, atheism in the names and attributes of Allah gradually led to atheism in the existence of Allah.
And the Muslim who reads the Book of Allah -exalted be He- with understanding and reverence, free from psychological defeat, knows that every page of the Quran negates this distorted image that suggests that Allah has some unknown role, in the manner of Adnan Ibrahim and his teacher Darwin. The Quran is filled with verses indicating Allah's continuous Lordship over His creation, the disposal of their destinies, and His Rububiyyah over them. And that they are in need in all their conditions of a Creator Who is All-Knowing, All-Competent, and All-Wise: "Have they not looked at the birds above them with wings outspread and [sometimes] folded in? None holds them [up] except the Most Merciful." [Al-Mulk:19] "Indeed, Allah holds the heavens and the earth, lest they cease." [Fatir:41]. And this Lordship from Allah, along with the need of the creatures, is also a requirement of reason, as we explained in the episode: "Greatness is Everywhere."
While doubting the creation is a prelude to doubting the legislation and the absolute right of Allah -exalted be He- to legislate for His servants. "Unto Him belongs creation and commandment." [Al-A'raf:54]. Doubting that creation is the creation of Allah is a prelude to doubting that there is no command or prohibition except from Him -glorified be He-, which is what Adnan Ibrahim does, who promotes Western democracy as better than the righteous caliphate, promotes secularism, and practices the same method by making you believe that in all of this he acknowledges some role for Allah.
So we say to those who have been affected by the doubts of Adnan Ibrahim: You have long suffered from those who speak without knowledge. And this is your right, but you -poor soul- have come to seek healing from one who entered you through the door of your discontent, who poisoned you with the fat, and finished you off completely, so you were like one seeking refuge from the scorching sun in the fire. Does Dr. Adnan Ibrahim in all of this realize what he is doing? And does he do it with prior planning? Or does the devil exploit the diseases of the hearts of some, making them a tool in his hand, "And they think that they are doing well." [Al-Kahf:104]. We are not much concerned with the answer, and the result does not differ, even if his stabbing of the legal constants of the Ummah and the Companions through much forgery, as our brothers have shown in the channel: "Combating Doubts," makes it difficult to find any excuse for him. Nevertheless, what concerns us is to show the devil's entrances into the hearts of people, so that we may say to them: "And do not follow the footsteps of the devil." [Al-Baqarah:186]. Then we will see how the Quran protects us from these steps and shields us from these fallacies, and we will see together that it is indeed, as Allah described it: "And We have sent down to you the Book as clarification of all things and as guidance and mercy and good tidings for the Muslims." [An-Nahl:89]. This is what we will see, God willing, after we review together the other models of claims of reconciliation between Islam and the myths of false science.
