Targeting Islamic Constants and Intellectual Schemes
The attack on Islam and its heritage is not a coincidence, but rather a systematic effort to undermine the constants of the Ummah. Today, we see people attacking the Sahih al-Bukhari and the texts of the Sharia, attempting to shake the Muslims' faith in their religion and history.
These currents, promoted by some channels such as "Al-Hurra," adopt a discourse that openly calls for the need to inflict an ideological and intellectual defeat on Muslims. The goal is to exert psychological and cognitive pressure on the Muslim to make him say, "There is something wrong with my religion," and then force him to adopt other forms of teachings that deviate from the essence of true Islam.
Mechanisms of Forced Change: Military and Ideological Defeat
These planners believe that change, or what they call "reform," in the Islamic world cannot begin except through two main mechanisms:
- Military Defeat: Breaking the material strength of Islamic states and societies.
- Ideological Defeat: The more dangerous one, where sharp and violent criticism is directed at Islamic doctrine and doubt is cast on its fundamental sources, such as the Sunnah of the Prophet.
This sharp criticism is not aimed at pure scientific research, but rather is a means of pressure to change the Islamic identity and dismantle the intellectual and defensive centers of power in the Ummah. They believe that only through these two mechanisms can the change they seek begin, a change that ultimately aims to erase the features of the religion and subjugate it to serve external agendas.
