Peace be upon you, without preamble... in two words, "standing in the mud" and I must tell them, especially to the social media celebrities. It seems the world has returned, and people have grown tired and stopped interacting and being affected as before, but we in Gaza have not returned, nor will we return, and we do not need to get used to what is happening to us.
Empty your concern for normal life on one hand, and spreading your outings and descents on social media on the other. You go to restaurants, cafes, and parties; respect that there are humans like you in Gaza who cannot find a morsel to eat! Respect that there are children dying of hunger in Gaza, respect that there are people who are martyred every day and lose their loved ones, families, and friends.
I do not come to your comments and find you commenting: "Oh God, enough is enough, our hearts are burning for you," and after a while I go to your "story" and find you going out, dancing, singing, at a party, and at a "wedding"! Either you are like this or you are like this, we do not want your sympathy if it is just a show and to avoid people attacking you.
Do not underestimate people's intelligence; if you want to stand with the cause of Gaza just to divert people's talk from you, or for "rebuke," then God is rich without you, because the cause of Gaza and the cause of Palestine is much bigger than that.
I wish everyone understood this, because I swear to God, from one end to the other. It is not you who are being slaughtered in Gaza, it is not you who are forced to imagine dismembered bodies and children with their heads split open, it is not you who come to the morgue and find twenty martyrs in front of you, including your relatives. You are sitting in hotels, at parties, and on outings. One enters your "stories" from the humiliation we see and feels like he is from another planet! Or as if we are living with you, or as if there are kilometers between us!
Respect us, people, respect us... we are humans just like you, respect that there are humans in Gaza who are "being slaughtered" every day. So respect this thing, and may God keep an eye on you; put some of your (private) life on social media.
