Taliban Decision and International Reactions
Peace be upon you. The Taliban has decided to stop women from working in aid organizations for not adhering to the hijab. Three aid organizations responded by stating they would suspend their operations until women are allowed to work, as they "do not permit this discrimination."
The international reaction was filled with condolences, lamentations, condemnations, and denunciations, as well as fears for the future of children and women in Afghanistan. The Organization of Islamic Cooperation also reacted, condemning the decision, and the Secretary-General emphasized the demand for the Taliban movement to reconsider the decision, which he said "contradicts the interests of the Afghan people."
Let's now look at what the media doesn't tell you. Before I begin, I am not concerned with exonerating the Taliban from mistakes in general, as I mentioned in my speech yesterday, but I am concerned with raising awareness among Muslims and people in general against the "exploitation" and deception practiced by the media.
1. Plundering Afghan Funds
What the media doesn't tell you is that America, ten months ago, seized seven billion dollars of the Afghan people's money from the central bank. Foreign newspapers at the time reported that this action was "mass murder of Afghans," and "The Independent" described it as crushing the Afghan economy.
2. Ideological Agendas of Organizations
What the media doesn't tell you is that these institutions that refused to provide aid, if you visit their websites—as I did—you will find that they are not just "upset" about preventing women from providing aid, but some of them (like CARE) advocate for LGBT rights, and you will see that they all focus on combating the marriage of girls before the age of eighteen, and of course, they never combat fornication before the age of eighteen; meaning the same "package" of the United Nations that we have mentioned repeatedly.
What the media doesn't tell you is that these seemingly innocent words (humanitarian aid and relief work) are often mixed with calls to disbelief, and that many workers in this field receive special training to make Muslims doubt their religion, as we explained in an article whose link we will provide in the description.
Therefore, the issue is presented by the media as if it is about not adhering to the hijab and some Islamic regulations, but in reality, it is a comprehensive project to infiltrate societies in the name of aid and change the religious and moral identity of the society. This is not a warning or an expectation or suspicion, but history bears witness to this, both past and present.
Restrictions on Islamic Relief Work
What the media doesn't tell you is that if Muslims want to help their Afghan brothers with relief work, there are a thousand obstacles and ready-made charges, while the field is open to organizations with agendas of Christianization or casting doubt on Islam or "gender." This is the same thing that happens with Syrian refugees and in Gaza and all occupied and besieged areas.
Historical Evidence from Memory
What the media doesn't tell you is that twenty years ago, the Taliban arrested a number of humanitarian workers because it was discovered that they were making Muslims doubt their religion. Then, when the international coalition began its strikes on Afghanistan, the Taliban released them and escorted them to the border without taking them hostage. Nevertheless, the international media at the time did not thank this action but published the news with the title: "Aid workers were rescued," as if they were extracted by force! They did not dare to say that the Taliban released them voluntarily while they were bombing them.
Economic Blockade and the Policy of "Mulukhiya with Mahalabiya"
What the media doesn't tell you is that these aid organizations include member countries that themselves occupied Afghanistan, such as the United States, Britain, France, and Germany. If you want to know what these countries did over twenty years in Afghanistan, watch our video: "What the Afghans Lost with the Exit of the Occupation," which is, of course, a title for sarcasm.
One of the causes of famine in Afghanistan is the economic blockade imposed by the international system, then "humanitarian aid" is allowed in a way that achieves the moral and religious change that this system desires.
Therefore, may those who want to open a "lamentation" and condemn and denounce, and color the decision with extremism, backwardness, regression, darkness, and "mulukhiya with mahalabiya," may they remember all this and not turn a blind eye to what the international system and its arms of aid organizations do.
A Message to Islamic Organizations and the International System
May the Islamic organizations that condemned the Taliban's decision make us hear their loud voices and condemnations and denunciations of the many points we mentioned that the media does not mention.
And we say to the international system and its arms and tools of these aid organizations: What do you think about returning the seven billion dollars you stole to Afghanistan? And stop the economic blockade? At that point, Afghanistan does not want your aid or relief, nor does it want your "kindness" or your concern for its women and children. Enough of your interference and that's it.
May Allah be our helper, and peace be upon you.
