Why Do We Boycott These Channels?

Reasons for the Boycott

Destroying Human Qualities in Children

Boycott them because they destroy human qualities in children and plant within them sexual desires, even perversion. Thus, religious discourse with them becomes harder than with righteous disbelievers, and repentance becomes difficult for them. Woe to what you bequeath to your children.

Boycott them, for your family is your responsibility. Al-Bukhari narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "There is no servant whom Allah has given responsibility for a flock and he does not guide them with sincere advice, he will not find the scent of Paradise." So how about those who surround them with the media of disbelief and hypocrisy?

The Destruction of Hypocrites and the Temptation of Hearts

Boycott them because the first reason for the destruction of hypocrites in the Hereafter is: "But you have tempted yourselves." You exposed yourselves to temptations, so hypocrisy entered your hearts, and you came to love sin and disobedience and hate the rituals of the religion. This is the state of one who follows a channel that he knows wants to tempt him.

Boycott them, and do not be deceived by the little good that is in them. Their predecessors among the hypocrites took a mosque to be a place of harm, disbelief, division among the believers, and spying on those who fought Allah and His Messenger before.

Protecting the Eyes from the Forbidden

Boycott them because an eye that turns to forbidden things is not worthy to see the Creator of beauty, glorified be He, on the Day of Judgment.

Boycott them, for if the Prophet were beside you, you would be ashamed for him to see you watching a cat from its kittens. Allah is more worthy that you be ashamed before Him. Allah is more worthy that you be ashamed before Him, watching them and your children for hours.

Honoring Allah's Creation

Boycott them, for Allah has honored you by making your hearing, sight, and heart inclined to the filth of those who follow their desires.

"O you who have believed, if you fear Allah, He will make for you a criterion." And how much we are in need of this criterion to distinguish between truth and falsehood in an age of doubts.

Striving of the Self and the Reward

Boycott them and strive against your self. Then, you have good tidings from Allah: "And those who strive for Us - We will surely guide them to Our ways. And indeed, Allah is with the doers of good."

Boycott them, perhaps Allah will fill your heart with the sweetness of faith in Ramadan. Allah says: "You will not find a people who believe in Allah and the Last Day having affection for those who oppose Allah and His Messenger." So when they purified their hearts from what Allah hates, what was their reward? Allah says: "Those, their hearts have been marked with faith, and they will be aided by a spirit from Him." Purify your heart, for the companionship with Allah cannot be with the companionship of His disobedience in one heart.

Not Following the Devil

Boycott them to strengthen yourself against the devil pulling you by the bridle of desires, knowing that he threatened the offspring of Adam, saying: "I will surely take from among your offspring an ally."

Boycott them, delete them, and do not keep them. For whoever preserves the path of return to sin, his repentance is not sincere, and he does not hope for Allah's help. Boycott them for the sake of Allah, and that is sufficient.
