Peace be upon you. Some people say, "What are you blaming the West for with (Epstein) when our Arab and Muslim countries also have moral scandals and crimes just like theirs?"
When we fight secularism and detachment from religion, what are we inviting people to? Are we asking them to emulate the model of Arab states? Have you ever heard a respected preacher tell people, "We must take the current state of Arab and Muslim countries as an example to follow, and we should call on Westerners to emulate what we are like now"?
Every respected preacher calls people to follow God’s commandments, and all of them say that the corruption, moral crimes, societal decay, political instability, and economic failures in Muslim lands are the dire consequences of failing to establish God’s law. Therefore, it is either naivety or ignorance to compare secular systems that oppose Islam with the state of Arab and Muslim countries.
When we make a comparison, let us compare the Islam we call for with the "modern Western ignorance" that is exported to the world as the ideal model and imposed on Muslim lands through laws tailored to its standards. It even reshapes the curricula of our children based on its criteria.
First, is (Epstein) and his network an isolated case? Absolutely not. We have previously warned against the danger of being swept up in media focus on (Epstein) as if the problem is confined to him, his clients, and his pimps. We have warned that the international system and its institutions are a generalized "Epstein-like" phenomenon, and that Western ignorance is extremely fertile ground for Epsteinism.
In contrast, let us see whether Islam protects societies from Epsteinism. I will present to you some of God’s commandments in Islam, and each time I mention one, compare it with Western ignorance:
Islam protects children and their innocence from corruption, while Western ignorance and the United Nations impose curricula of obscenity under the guise of "sexual education" and enact laws preventing parents from determining what their children are exposed to—materials that destroy their innocence under the banner of "children’s right to access information."
Those who say, "We have the same problems as them," are kindly asked not to be naive. If they are going to make a comparison, let them compare with the Islam we call for, not with the state of our societies—every aspect of which is marred by evil and corruption as a direct result of abandoning Islamic law.
Of course, we do not for a moment accept that our situation is the same as that of Western ignorance. The remnants of religion in our people have protected us from falling into the swamp that Epstein’s network is trying to drag us into. Compare the methodology with the methodology, and you will see that the corruption of some individuals in Muslim societies is due to their deviation from Islamic teachings, while the corruption of individuals in Western societies is due to the corrupt methodology of Western ignorance that they are trying to impose on us with the help of their tails and hypocrites.
Someone might argue, "But even in the time of the Companions, there were cases of adultery!" as if this strikes a fatal blow. Although the comparison is utterly baseless, let us respond:
Among the Companions, there were very few cases of people falling into sin in a moment of weakness. They soon regretted it and came to the Prophet peace be upon him, confessing and asking for the prescribed punishment to be carried out. The Messenger of God peace be upon him turned away from them as they insisted, hoping for God’s forgiveness for their sins. He even said about (Ma’iz) may God be pleased with him, "He has repented in a way that, if divided among a nation, would have sufficed for all of them."
Similarly, (Al-Ghamidiyyah) may God be pleased with her came and asked for the punishment to be carried out. The Messenger of God peace be upon him delayed her repeatedly as she returned again and again until the punishment was carried out. Then he prayed over her, and Umar may God be pleased with him said, "Will you pray over her, O Messenger of God, after she committed adultery?" He replied, "She has repented in a way that, if divided among seventy people of Medina, would have sufficed for all of them. Is there any repentance better than one in which she sacrificed her life for the sake of God?"
Can the dust of the feet of these pure and righteous Companions be compared to the filthy dogs that commit fornication morning and evening, raping and coercing without a shred of shame, in organized criminal networks?
"Shall We then treat the Muslims like the criminals? What is the matter with you? How ill you judge!" (Quran 68:35-36)
Peace be upon you.
