Episode 25 - Reasons for Humiliation

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah, Dear brothers, everyone loves dignity and hates humiliation. Life is either honor or humiliation, and humiliation is not accepted except by the ignorant. But beware!...You may do something that leads you to this humiliation...It is disobedience. What is the evidence from the Book of Allah that disobedience leads to humiliation? Allah the Almighty said in describing the Jews in verse 112 of Surah Al-Imran: ((Humiliation was imposed upon them wherever they were found, except with a rope from Allah and a rope from the people, and they incurred the wrath of Allah, and humiliation was imposed upon them. That is because they used to disbelieve in the signs of Allah and kill the prophets unjustly. That is because they disobeyed and transgressed.)) Notice, brothers...Allah mentioned to us the reasons for the humiliation of the Jews so that we may beware of falling into them. The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: ((You will follow the ways of those before you)). Meaning (turn your minds...you will fall into the same mistakes...and lead to the same results). Therefore, the talk about the Jews concerns us, so that we know the place of the defect to correct it. In this verse, Allah the Almighty mentioned four reasons for humiliation, for this amount imposed on groups of people: 1) ((They disbelieve in the signs of Allah)). 2) ((They kill the prophets unjustly))...Similar in our time is the killing of the callers to the prophets, peace be upon them, for Allah the Almighty said in another verse in the same surah: ((They kill the prophets unjustly and kill those who command justice among the people)) So if in a society the callers to Allah are killed and fought, and the common people are silent and do not support them preferring the world and fearing humiliation at the hands of the oppressors, then Allah the Almighty will not honor or elevate people in this condition. How can Allah honor people who do not honor His religion and the callers to it?! Let each one see what he has done for the callers who are oppressed and wronged in any country. 3) ((That is because they disobeyed)) Disobedience in all its forms leads to that, O servant, beware! The Prophet (peace be upon him) said: ((Humiliation and degradation were placed upon those who oppose my command)). ((Humiliation and degradation were placed upon those who oppose my command)). When you disobey, remember that there is a price you will pay. I have seen sins kill the hearts, and the humiliation of addiction And leaving sins is the life of the hearts, and the best for you is to disobey them 4) ((And they transgressed)) The transgressor often transgresses and oppresses others because he is taken by pride in sin, wanting to honor himself at the expense of others, so humiliation comes to him from Allah the Almighty. While if you are oppressed and patient for the sake of Allah and do not respond to oppression with oppression, you have the hadith of the Prophet (peace be upon him): ((Three things I have sworn by...and mentioned among them: And no servant is wronged and is patient with it except that Allah will increase him in honor by it)). Therefore, brothers and sisters, four reasons for humiliation: 1) Disbelief in the signs of Allah 2) Abandoning the callers to Allah and leaving them to suffer oppression in their call 3) Disobedience 4) Transgression So let us beware of them so that Allah may honor us ((Whoever wants honor, to Allah belongs all honor)) Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.
