What you see in the image on the right is one of Bashar's dogs, named Amjad Yusuf. Thirteen years ago, when he and his civilian colleagues were dragged from their homes, bound, blindfolded, and mocked, they were thrown one by one into a large pit and Amjad shot them. Afterward, they poured gasoline on them and set them on fire, an event later known as the Massacre of Hayy al-Tadamon.
What you see on the left is also Amjad Yusuf today, after being arrested, humiliated, disgraced, and degraded.
Amjad and his companions filmed their crime with sound and image, feeling safe and confident that punishment would not reach them. Behind him stood his master Bashar, his soldiers, the militia that came to aid his crimes from all directions, Iran, and Russia with its power and arrogance. Even behind him stood an international system complicit, even if it appeared condemning and critical, an international system that supported the rule of the fleeing mouse and his father for fifty-five years. So what is Amjad afraid of?! Why doesn’t he film his act?
This is a message to every oppressor and criminal, and how many there are: (And never think that Allah is unaware of what the wrongdoers do). Do not think you have rendered the Lord of the heavens and the earth powerless: (They were not to escape in the earth, nor had they any protectors besides Allah).
And a message to those whom Allah has enabled to capture this wretch and his kind: stopping the tragedy of this Muslim country, which has lasted for decades, was by Allah’s grace. Your ability to capture these criminals is by Allah’s grace. So do not persist in Allah’s blessings while disobeying Him. By Allah, no power on earth will benefit you if Allah wills to take away His blessings from you. Indeed: (Whatever mercy Allah opens for people, none can withhold it; and whatever He withholds, none can release it thereafter. And He is the Exalted in Might, the Wise (2)).
