The worst way to support Al-Aqsa and Gaza's people is to turn supporting them into a cause for division and hatred!

"Why O so-and-so didn't you post about Al-Aqsa?"...inquisition courts moving through reformers' pages to interrogate them then draw the swords of tongues against them!

I know a reforming brother who supplicates for those steadfast in Jerusalem daily, and supplicates for oppressed Muslims worldwide for decades, and offers available material support to our people in Palestine, and works on raising noble sound souls to liberate Al-Aqsa and raise the Ummah, and I consider him softer-hearted than me and more intensely grieving for his brothers at Al-Aqsa and Gaza..and during Ramadan he conducts Quranic lessons on his Telegram channel connecting verses to events and reminding his students to supplicate for their brothers and support them with what they can..despite a severe health problem he faced recently, and he's not appeasing anyone but bold in truth.

Then groups of people come -quite simply- commenting on his account: "Why don't you speak about Al-Aqsa?", "This issue doesn't concern you huh"?! With bared fangs showing through the letters, and ready execution judgments!

And I reckon some of these people need to review themselves to see if they're exploiting events as a season for increasing followers with their eyes on likes, shares and comments! Then they outbid one who dedicated his time, effort and supplication to support his brothers for Allah's sake as far as I can judge.

Well why doesn't he write something and silence them?

If I were in his place I'd refrain from humoring these people...for whoever wants to write something should write it for Allah's sake, not to silence people or appease people or escape people's accusations! I say this while I personally have posted much on the subject, so no one can say I'm saying it to defend myself. Nevertheless, by Allah I don't claim my work supporting Al-Aqsa and Gaza is closer to acceptance and more hoped for with Allah than my brothers whom people stab and curse while they supplicate for Al-Aqsa's people in prostration and seclusion and work to support them without noise!

Some might say: So why do you criticize the words of this or that person whom you respond to? Because I'm responding to evil, not that I want people to display their good deeds "despite themselves".

Leave people alone...don't turn it into a festival of outbidding and inquisition courts! And let each one choose a lawful way to support their brothers, Don't push people toward ostentation forcefully! And don't make "supporting Al-Aqsa" a cause for division, mutual hatred and bringing people down!

And Allah is the One whose help is sought.
