O reforming father, O mother careful about her daughters...I see in you worry and sadness about your sons' and daughters' behavior with you!

You prevent your young son from spending all his time on phones and electronic games..

You prevent your daughter from keeping up with her friends...

So you collide with your children who see you as "annoying" preventing them from their desires..so he misbehaves with you, so you react and scold him..and perhaps strike him..then regret, and feel contradiction: "What would people say about me if they saw me treating my son like this? While they think I'm the virtuous educator"?!

While other fathers and other mothers have "given themselves a break" by giving their sons and daughters what they want, and left them "drugged" on devices between games, films and advertisements...so the fathers bought their time from their children with this, and avoided clashing with them, and here they are writing on social media about virtuous morals and bearing responsibility and photographing themselves with their children on trips and restaurants in harmony and rapport "seemingly"!

O father! O mother! Don't grieve, don't let grief over your child's bad manners with you as you try to protect them combine with grief over your bad view of yourself and doubting your righteousness and accusing it of hypocrisy!

Rather you are righteous and you are righteous God willing, you wanted to protect your children in this difficult time, and you didn't deceive them nor abandon their trust. So take pride in that and raise your heads with it...and be careful to occupy them with what benefits and dedicate your time to that, and that anger not control you from their reactions...and know that Allah doesn't waste the reward of the good-doers.

May Allah please our eyes with our children and help us and them bear our responsibilities.
