And this is what we have come to expect from him.

We need more such stances from celebrities and influencers. For those whom Allah grants acceptance and love among people should not become slaves to what platforms and their controllers impose.

And the most beautiful thing about this is that Aboutrika was citing verses from the Quran, thereby declaring that his reference is the law of his Creator, Glory be to Him. And this is how every Muslim should be.

All of this is apart from the topic of football and exaggeration about it, and with reservation about mixing his citation of the Quran with "customs, traditions, and religions (in general terms like this)." For revelation is pure truth while these are mixtures of truth and falsehood.
