Yesterday during the Eid prayer, there were two situations: one pleasing and one harmful. As for the pleasing situation: generous hospitality in the mosque and gifts for children to make them love the houses of Allah. Brothers stood with smiles and kind words to spread an atmosphere of joy and affection. May Allah bring joy to those who bring joy to Muslims and those who make our children love His houses, Glory be to Him. As for the harmful situation, when we left the mosque toward our cars, we saw the traffic completely stalled... why? The owner of a large car parked in a slanted double-parked manner, blocking the road to and from the mosque! He was taking his time in the mosque and did not bother to leave quickly after the prayer to move it. The worshippers were delayed, their joy was spoiled, and the feelings of delight they gained in the mosque turned into tension and anger.

So we say to whoever obstructs people's passage in this way: You are a sinner and an evildoer, and it is expected that you return with sins rather than reward. In the Hasan Hadith from Mu'adh bin Anas, he said: (I went on such and such a raid with the Prophet of Allah, peace be upon him, and the people narrowed the quarters and blocked the road. So the Prophet of Allah sent a caller to announce to the people that whoever narrows a quarter or blocks a road, there is no Jihad for him). Meaning he has no reward or recompense. So fear Allah regarding the Muslims, their time, and spoiling their joy! Furthermore, this behavior is usually not free from pride, selfishness, and disregard for Muslims... "The important thing is that I park in a nearby spot, and after me, the deluge"!! Generally, anyone who does such an act, if he knew his car would be towed or he would receive a heavy fine, he would not dare to do it... but the words "forbidden" and "harming people" are not scary to him! We ask Allah to guide us to the best of manners and to take us from this world without having harmed any Muslim.
