In some Arab countries you find no stipulated punishment for disbelief, nor for the worst disbelief like cursing Allah. Rather you find a general text like the following: (Whoever utters in a public place and within hearing of another person a word or sound that would lead to insulting that person's religious feeling or belief shall be punished by imprisonment for a period not exceeding three months or a fine not exceeding twenty [country's currency]).
1. So the problem isn't cursing Allah or mocking His religion. Meaning there's no sanctity in this law for Allah nor His religion, and no difference between the true religion and false religions, rather the problem is ((only)) harming someone's religious feeling. Therefore if you said to a cow-worshipper among workers present in the country: (This cow of yours is a beast that neither harms nor benefits) and his "religious feeling" was hurt, he can prosecute you by the same law, and cursing Allah and cursing a cow have equal punishment!!
2. And if we assume someone cursed Allah and His messengers with the vilest terms in a public place and no passerby complained of their religious feeling being hurt, this person has no punishment!
3. And the punishment's maximum limit only was specified, therefore if the judge punished someone who cursed Allah with a fine of one shilling, five pennies, one dirham...they've implemented the law!
4. And one lawyer I know in an Arab country witnessed a session where the female judge ruled on someone who cursed Allah with five papers (of his country's currency), meaning equivalent to a meal, and said: Come on, it's minor...and the gathering dispersed quite simply, and may harm not enter your home!
5. This while we're speaking about Allah's right, our Creator and the Creator of the heavens and earth, who described those who said what's unbecoming of Him (without intending explicit insult): (You have done an atrocious thing. The heavens almost rupture therefrom and the earth splits open and the mountains collapse in devastation).
Our consolation is Allah's saying: (And We place the scales of justice for the Day of Resurrection)....on Judgment Day: (To whom belongs dominion this Day? To Allah, the One, the Prevailing).
