A Beautiful Incident from the Biography of the Prophet, Peace Be Upon Him
A Beautiful Incident from the Life of the Prophet (peace be upon him)
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. May Allah keep you in good health, dear guests, and bless you on this Friday. I would like to share this quick thought with you.
The Corrupt in Muslim Lands and Their Opposite, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him)
It is known about the corrupt in Muslim lands that they plunder the riches of the country for themselves and their offspring, and the matter escalates, reaching a state where the corrupt leave nothing for the general public in Muslim lands. So, what do they do to the people? They make the people endure with "Allah has said and His Messenger has said," meaning they address the people as "endure poverty and you will have Paradise, support each other socially so that you can meet each other's needs." As for themselves, they take the money for themselves and make the people endure with the Hereafter and religion.
Look at the complete opposite of that, the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him). Remember this situation, keep it in your mind, and let's see the Prophet (peace be upon him).
The Story of Fatimah and Ali (may Allah be pleased with them)
Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her), who is one of the best women in the world, and in a narration outside the Sahihain, a good narration that Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) also complained of chest pain from drawing water and carrying it for the people. Fatimah came to the Prophet (peace be upon him) asking for a servant but did not find him, so she mentioned that to Aisha. She told Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) what she wanted.
When the Prophet (peace be upon him) came, Mother Aisha told the Messenger of Allah what Fatimah wanted. Ali, the narrator of the hadith, said: "He came to us while we had taken our places," meaning him and Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with them). They went to the Prophet (peace be upon him) and said, "Stay in your place," meaning do not change your situation and stay in your place, do not get up for me.
Ali said: "He sat between us until I felt the coolness of his feet on my chest," meaning he sat affectionately. The Prophet (peace be upon him) came close to them until his blessed feet touched the chest of Ali (may Allah be pleased with him). A close and affectionate sitting.
He said: "Shall I guide you to something better for you than a servant? When you go to your bed, glorify Allah thirty-three times, praise Him thirty-three times, and exalt Him thirty-four times. This is better for you than a servant."
Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) was asked, and it was said to him: "May Allah be pleased with you," meaning Ali himself said: "I did not leave it after we learned it from the Messenger of Allah." They said to him: "Not even on the day of Siffin?" meaning you were very busy that day, he said: "Not even on the day of Siffin."
The Lesson from the Incident
Pay attention, brothers, notice that the Prophet (peace be upon him) does not give to his daughter, who is one of the dearest people to him. Sometimes one may be stingy with himself, be frugal, and renounce the world for himself, but when it comes to children, the parents are miserly, sad, and you may find that he may even do something forbidden for some people for his children, and he may be stingy with himself but not with his children.
On the other hand, our beloved and our role model, our Messenger (peace be upon him), says to his beloved daughter and his beloved cousin, the husband of his daughter: "Come, I will teach you something better for you than a servant." And to those who sometimes were those who fought him before, he gives them money so that they may be reconciled and enter Paradise with him (peace be upon him).
Look at the great difference between the Messenger of Allah and the leaders of the world.
Praise of the Prophet (peace be upon him)
O one whose morals do not desire high status nor admire the great Your adornment is in the great character traits that attract and captivate the generous If you are generous, you reach the extent of generosity and do what the winds do not do And if you show mercy, you are a mother or a father, these are the merciful in this world And if you are angry, it is only anger for the truth, not envy nor malice And if you speak, it is a speech that shakes the pulpits and makes the hearts weep And if you take an oath or give it, all your oaths are a guarantee and fulfillment A favor upon you, O possessor of glory, and a blessing, and Allah gives to whom He wills and chooses
May Allah, the Great Lord of the Great Throne, gather us in Paradise with our Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) without reckoning or punishment. May Allah bless you, and peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.
