Peace be upon you and may God's mercy and blessings be upon you, dear respected individuals. This message is primarily addressed to school principals and biology teachers, especially those teaching the 10th grade.
Yesterday, a friend's son came to me and said: "At our school, the biology teacher says -since the first lesson in the 10th grade is about this theory-: 'We don't have a problem with the theory of evolution regarding the evolution of animals, but our problem is only with the evolution of man.'"
The student told me: "This teacher is respected and well-versed in the Quran." Therefore, I wanted to alert this respected teacher and my fellow biology teachers in general about the error and danger of this statement and this concept.
You will see the detailed answer; why this statement is completely wrong, and that will be in several episodes of the "Journey of Certainty" series, in which we have responded to this theory—or this superstition—with a detailed response.
I advise you first to watch the following episodes (and when I say "theory," I put quotation marks because I do not acknowledge it as a theory or even a hypothesis, but it is one of the silliest jokes in history):
You can easily find these episodes by typing the title in the YouTube search engine. They are short episodes (for example, Episode 57 is only 17 minutes long). We have worked hard to produce them and simplify the concepts to be precise in every word, so please follow them so that you do not fall into such mistakes.
Recently, one of the sisters commented on the "Women" series, saying: "Dr. Iyad, we have a generation of girls from the worst generations; boldness, rudeness, and disrespect for religion to an unprecedented extent." She said she had an idea: she gave each girl an episode from the Women series and asked her to come up with three positives and three negatives from the episode. The result was beyond what one could imagine; thanks to God Almighty, a great change occurred in the girls' thinking and morals.
I ask you—not to tell the students that Dr. Iyad is correct—but to tell them: "Come, these are the episodes of the Journey of Certainty (especially those related to evolution from episode 18 to the end of the series). Watch any episode and come up with three points of criticism."
Challenge them to come up with three errors from my speech, and I will follow the comments on this post; if the student is attentive and understanding and comes up with three scientific points of criticism, you will see a revolution in the way students think and the development of critical thinking in them, by the permission of God Almighty.
Please do not neglect this call. Bring and assign your students to watch (from episode 18 to approximately the end of the series, episode 60). I ask God Almighty to rectify our children and guide us to the right path.
