The Ruling on Legislative Councils Contrary to the Sharia
The issue that some claim to have a difference of opinion, or even a strong difference that confuses the observer and researcher, is in fact an issue that has no basis in the Book of God Almighty nor in the Sunnah of His Messenger (peace be upon him). Rather, it is a matter of consensus on misguidance, innovation, and disbelief.
Regarding the ruling of Islam on the nomination for the "People's Assembly"; this council refers to something other than the Sharia of God Almighty, and makes the constitution, which was created by humans, the ruler over the Sharia of God Almighty. The members of this council have given themselves the right in this constitution to either agree to the application of the Sharia or to reject its application. This is outright disbelief by consensus of the Muslims.
Response to the Doubts of the Modern Murji'ah
Do not pay attention to the doubts that the modern Murji'ah raise against the creed of Ahlus Sunnah wal Jama'ah; the Sharia must be applied despite the refusal of the rejecters because it is the ruling of God Almighty. Those who have the power to apply it now (through voting) have the power to abolish it in the future. If the Sharia is applied because the majority in the council agreed to its application, and the constitution states that the ruling is for the majority, then this means that the constitution is ruling over the Sharia of God Almighty, and this is outright disbelief by consensus of the Muslims.
The Invalidity of Legislative Authority Without God
Giving absolute legislative authority to anyone other than God, such as parliament or others, so that they may permit what they will and prohibit what they will, and may suspend or implement Sharia rulings as they please, and may legitimize or invalidate what they will; this is the falsehood that the entire nation has agreed to reject throughout the centuries.
It is fundamentally invalid, and no rulings can be corrected or permitted with it. Any authority based on it is invalid, and any law that appears based on it is invalid and void.
