Declaring Muslims as Disbelievers Due to Their Psychological Defeat

Peace be upon you.

Takfiris are the most dangerous people to humanity, and this episode is a warning about them. Takfiris are those who push Muslims towards disbelief. "They wish that you would disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so you would be alike." Just as they cannot tolerate purity and say about those who reject their filth, "Expel them from your town, for they are people who purify themselves," so too they wish that you would disbelieve as they have disbelieved, so you would be alike.

The takfir that judges a Muslim as a disbeliever results in sin, and if this Muslim is killed, then he is in the Fire and the Muslim is in Paradise. However, the more dangerous takfiri is the one who pushes Muslims towards disbelief, causing them to abandon their religion and suffer in this world from loss, and then in the Hereafter from eternal punishment in the Hellfire. Therefore, Allah the Most High said, "And fitnah is greater than killing." To tempt a person away from his religion is a greater crime than killing him. These are the people most deserving of being described as takfiris.

The matter is very serious, my brothers, and therefore Allah has shown us the extent of their eagerness to declare us as disbelievers, then He warned us immediately after that, saying: "And whoever of you reverts from his religion and dies as a disbeliever, for those, their deeds have become worthless in this world and the Hereafter, and those are the companions of the Fire, wherein they will abide forever."

Therefore, let us review the methods of the takfiris in declaring Muslims as disbelievers. Before reviewing them, who are the takfiris? They are among those who control the international system, who enslave man, humiliate him, and steal the riches of the earth. Nothing stands in the way of their greed and transgression except Islam with its preserved revelation, the Islam that rises against injustice, not capable of compromising with falsehood. Therefore, it was necessary for them to belittle this Islam in the hearts of its people, so that Islam would conform to their desires.

Methods of Takfiris in Excommunicating Muslims

What are the methods of Takfiris given the diversity of their forms? Their methods can be summarized in two points: belittling Islam in the hearts of Muslims, and beautifying shirk (associating partners with Allah) and kufr (disbelief) under different names that are, in reality, kufr, but with makeup so that we feel there is no difference between Islam and kufr. In fact, they make us feel that kufr is better than Islam, making it easy for us to take the step of leaving Islam. We do not feel the distance as described by Allah: "And whoever associates others with Allah, it is as if he had fallen from the sky, and the birds snatch him away, or the wind drives him to a far-off place." Rather, we feel that there is no real difference, that everything is interconnected, and that all paths lead to Allah, if there is an Allah, according to their doubts.

Belittling Islam in the Hearts of Muslims

Let us first take some of their methods in belittling Islam in the hearts of Muslims. Incidentally, we will provide links to elaborate on the points in the comments.

Glorifying the Trivial and Their Attacks on Islam

• A trivial person is glorified simply because they attack Islam. The media presents them as an icon of struggle and revolution against traditions, a champion of women, and a beacon of enlightenment in a world filled with darkness.

Dealing with Insults to Islam

• Fighting against Allah and His Messenger is portrayed as a minor negative aspect that can be overshadowed by the good aspects of a person, if it is considered a negative aspect at all.
• Diplomats from countries that officially mock Islam are received with warmth in some Muslim countries. The implicit message is: Your religion, Muslims, is nothing, and political interests are more important.
• At the level of laws, insulting Allah, His prophets, and His books have no real punishment in the law. The punishment is more like daring to do so, and the crime is called "offending religious feelings." If someone complains about insulting Allah and His Messenger, there is no problem or case because there is no sanctity or reverence for Allah and His religion in the laws. Meanwhile, those who criticize the elites in Muslim countries or insult them on their blogs are struck with an iron hand.

Doubting Islam and Defaming Sharia

• Channels and accounts that cast doubt on Islam and defame the rulings of Sharia, presenting their programs with people from our own people speaking our language. These channels state in their "About Us" section that they are funded by Western institutions.
• Specialized centers like the RAND Corporation for Strategic Planning publish studies that are implemented, using comedy to defame Islam under the cover of mocking religious figures, going as far as mocking Allah and His Messenger, as in this article that some brothers requested to be translated from German.
• Western politicians openly state, like Trump's former advisor General Michael Flynn, who said: "It must be eradicated." And he proposed a means for that, which is to undermine the credibility of Islamic ideology. It is no wonder that they use all means to do so.
• Universities train people to cast doubt on Muslims in their religion. I am not talking about Christianization, but about casting doubt on Muslims in their religion, as stated by their students, such as the United University of Religion.

Psychological Defeat and Defaming the Image

• To taste the bitterness of military defeat as a prelude to psychological defeat, as Tawfiq Hamid says, and we feel our humiliation among people. While countries that legally prevent the publication of images of their citizens to preserve their dignity, the same countries that publish images of our torture and killing as leaks, prevent the publication of their victims to preserve their dignity. The implicit message: As long as you are Muslims, you are nothing.
• When the teacher who mocked our Prophet peace be upon him was killed, the media was ablaze with talk about the topic, and messages of condemnation and solidarity were sent to France from countries around the world. When France killed more than a hundred Muslims in Mali shortly thereafter, the news went without media coverage. The message from all of them: You Muslims are nothing.

Defaming Islamic History and Erasing Role Models

• Defaming Islamic history and avoiding teaching it in schools, which is also stated in the recommendations of the RAND Center, so that Muslims feel they have no historical roots to be proud of and emulate, but rather are marginalized in history.
• Erasing living role models among us and marginalizing them in favor of polishing Gandhi, Mandela, Teresa, Che Guevara, and others.
• Complete blackout on the civilizational role of Muslims in discoveries and inventions historically and in our present time.

These are methods and many others that are done in a systematic and studied manner to belittle Islam in the hearts of Muslims.

Beautifying Shirk and Kufr

On the other hand, beautifying kufr and putting makeup on it is one of the methods of Takfiris in that:

Naming Kufr with Ornate Names

• Naming kufr with ornate names: freedom of expression, culture, enlightenment, secularism, modernity. So that the one who mocks the Sharia or says outright: "We are in a state of the constitution and the law and we have no relation to the Quran and its verses" as one of them said, is described as secular, and the souls are averse to describing him as kufr, and they are pitied when they perish. And some parties fall into this, which are unfortunately described as Islamic.

Supporting Moderate Islam and Civil Islam

• Strategic planning centers issue many studies such as the study "Building Networks of Moderate Muslims" and "Civil Democratic Islam," in which they recommend supporting moderate Muslims. Who are the moderate Muslims? When you read their names, you find that they are people who were born in Muslim families and then objected to the Quran and attacked its rulings. And the planning centers recommend supporting these people, exporting them in the media, translating their works, and reaching them to the countries of East Asia, all of which are recommendations that are implemented, brothers. On the other hand, those who believe in the necessity of establishing the Sharia are framed in the framework of extremism. I have spoken in some detail about these studies.

Changing the Identity of Islamic Peoples

• Changing the identity of Islamic peoples and linking them to pre-Islamic civilizations such as the Pharaonic. So that when you say Sharia, they say: "You are taking us back 1,400 years." While they want to take the peoples thousands of years back to paganism, the worship of various gods, and the enslavement of humans by the Pharaohs.
• Building pagan temples like Hinduism at a time when Quranic memorization centers are being squeezed, and mosques are demolished under the pretext that they do not have a license.

Spreading the Concept of the Abrahamic Religion

• Spreading the concept of the Abrahamic religion to blur the distinction between Tawheed (monotheism) and shirk.

Polishing the Image of Heretical Figures

• Extracting heretical figures from the depths of history such as Al-Hallaj, polishing them, making series about them, and spreading their heritage.

Exporting Atheism as a Respectable Viewpoint

• Presenting atheism as a respected viewpoint with its deep philosophy, and exporting atheists as intellectuals who made their decision to leave Islam after careful study, so that you are afraid to say that they are apostates. All of this is preparation to make atheists a category in society, citizens who have what other citizens have, and therefore considering the nullification of their beliefs, refuting their claims, and responding to them as an offense to their feelings and a threat to national unity and a provocation of fitna in society.
• Spreading humanism, which evaluates people based on the centrality of man. Thus, insulting Allah by calling for atheism is not considered a defect in the religion of humanism, because the right of Allah is not paramount in the souls, and the important thing is that the person has not killed anyone and has not harmed a human being in the world.
• Exalting atheist Takfiri advocates and the false science employed for atheism through programs under the guise of simplifying science.

Exploiting Misguided Muslim Models

• Focusing on misguided models who have fallen into the takfir (excommunication) of Muslims and the violation of their rights and blood, the media exploits the mistakes of these models so that a reaction is generated among all Muslims to classify someone as a kafir (disbeliever) or a Muslim, as if anyone who describes the true kafir as a kafir becomes one of these misguided individuals.

And many other means, all of which are systematic and studied methods to beautify kufr (disbelief) and apply makeup to it, they degrade Islam in the hearts of its people and beautify kufr for them so that they may apostate from their religion.

What is Required of Us

In the face of all this, esteemed ones, we are facing an existential war from takfiri thought that aims to eradicate our religion and eliminate the last remnants of it. And we need to value ourselves as Muslims and rid ourselves of the psychological defeat and humiliation that we endure morning and evening, and to restore our pride in our Islam for our sake and for the sake of humanity that needs us, for humanity that Allah has sent us out to: "You are the best nation ever raised up for mankind."

Oppressive countries, if they are subjected to an individual act, they cry out and bomb and destroy entire countries under the slogan "It is our right to defend ourselves," while Muslims do not have the right to defend themselves and their religion, not even by speaking and clarifying concepts, so the takfiris frame them with frames of extremism, radicalism, and others.

In the face of all this, what is required? Is it required that we fear their cunning? Never, but awareness is the first step for prevention, and what is required after that is to pay attention to these means whenever we see them, and "take your precautions" as Allah the Almighty has said, and to be patient and seek refuge in Allah to protect us from falling prey to their schemes. Allah the Almighty has said: "But if you endure patiently and guard against evil, their cunning will not harm you in the least. Indeed, Allah is surrounding all that they do."
