Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.

In the previous episode, we saw what the world lost due to the decline of Muslims. In today's episode, we will see the reasons that make us doubt whether humanity needs Islam. Then, we will respond to the objections that say: Why do you assume that Islam alone is qualified to solve humanity's problems and is the only refuge for them? Don't we Muslims have the same moral decline as humanity, and we need someone to save us from the injustice and oppression we live in?

Does humanity need Islam?

The logic of Pharaoh and the people of Hud and Saleh

First, does humanity, with all its progress, need a religion that appeared in the Arabian Peninsula? If you are still wondering about this, know that it is the logic of Pharaoh, who, when Moses came to him with guidance, said: {O my people, is not mine the kingdom of Egypt, and these rivers flowing at my feet? Then will you not see? Or am I better than this who is despised and can hardly speak?}

Pharaoh was industrially and civilly advanced over Moses, and by his command, palaces were built: {O Haman, build me a lofty palace}. And you can imagine what that requires of engineers, workers, and others. The pyramids bear witness to the greatness of his kingdom and the kingdoms of other pharaohs.

The people of the Prophet Hud were advanced in civilization to the extent that they said: {Who is mightier than us in strength?} And their prophet said to them: {Do you build on every windblown spot a sign, amusing yourselves and taking fortresses that perhaps you may persevere forever?} They excelled in building magnificent buildings in high areas along famous roads, and in building towers.

The people of Saleh, peace be upon him, said to them their prophet: {And you carve out of the mountains houses with grandeur.} Ibn Abbas and others said: meaning skillful, meaning precise in their carving and engraving.

But after mentioning the state of all of them and others, Allah the Almighty said: {Have you considered if We gave them enjoyment for years and then there came to them what they were promised? What availed them what they were given to enjoy?} An example like a flood that sweeps away these hollow civilizations devoid of their Lord's revelation.

The state of humanity today

The state of humanity today is like it was in the days of Pharaoh, Haman, Qarun, and a ruling class that benefited politically, economically, and militarily, a subordinate class that lived in luxury, and the rest were enslaved, humiliated, and suffering. And there are people who are dazzled and say: {Would that we had the like of what Qarun was given! Indeed, he is one of great fortune.}

And Pharaoh strikes the chord of civilizational superiority, affecting the foolish: {So his people mocked him and obeyed him. Indeed, they were a transgressing people.} It is transgression to measure things by the length of buildings and for man to forget what he was created for. It is transgression if we think that since man has reached the moon and the depths of the oceans and invented inventions, he has no need for divine guidance that preserves man, honors him, and rectifies his worldly life and the hereafter.

The Muslim's measure

If the measure is worldly, you have seen what humanity is suffering from despite the remarkable technological progress, and you have seen the rise of materialism and the degradation of man's value as in the previous episode. But despite that, you are a Muslim, your measure is not worldly, your motto is not "we die and live and nothing destroys us but time," but you worship a Lord who said: {And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me.}

The effect of enemies on the view of Islam

If you doubt humanity's need for Islam, ask yourself: Have my enemies succeeded in belittling Islam in my perception through the methods we mentioned? Have they succeeded in making me a psychologically defeated person who sees them as great and sees my religion as nothing? Or have they succeeded in changing my view and criteria so that I have become purely materialistic?

When one of the Muslim scholars who dedicated their lives to calling to Allah and correcting concepts dies, you find some of us saying to ourselves: "And what did this person contribute to humanity?" While if an atheist dies who used his knowledge to turn people away from the path of Allah, someone might say to themselves: "This person contributed all of this to humanity." And we have discussed before that scientific and technological superiority has Islamic roots, and contemporary Muslims still have contributions to it that are not highlighted.

Why Islam in particular?

Secondly, do you say to yourself: Why do we assume that Islam in particular is capable of saving humanity? I say to you: And who is there besides Islam with its preserved revelation?

The weakness of humanity without God's guidance

When humanity goes astray in the way we have seen, stumbles in values, ethics, and laws, and fails to regulate the individual's relationship with himself, with his Lord, and with others, and wanders in this darkness, which god other than Allah comes to you with light? Do you not hear?

When man is entrusted to himself, the saying applies to him: "If there is no help from Allah for the girl, the first thing her effort gains her is." Without Allah who says: {Does He not know who created and is the Most Subtle, the Acquainted?} Without Allah who says: {Allah wants to make clear to you and guide you to the ways of those before you and accept your repentance. And Allah is Knowing and Wise, and Allah wants to accept your repentance, but those who follow their desires want [you] to deviate [greatly]. Allah wants to lighten for you [your difficulties], and man was created weak.}

When you see how humanity has deviated greatly due to the followers of desires, you see no other guidance from Allah as a rope that pulls it out of this swamp, a rope from Allah who legislated what He legislated to lighten the burden on the weak man so that he does not go astray and does not suffer.

The failure of secular systems

Do you see that the conclusion is in the values of freedom, equality, humanism, international conventions, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the Geneva Convention on the Family, the United Nations, and the Security Council? We have seen repeatedly how all these slogans and bodies, when cut off from revelation and left to human whims, became a source of human suffering and a plaything in the hands of the ruling class.

The corruption of distorted religions

Who is there besides Islam with its preserved revelation to save humanity? The men of distorted religions who appease every fashion of atheism, perversion, humanism, or false science, saying to the atheists who denied Allah: "You do not have to believe in Allah to go to paradise," and they promise atheists paradise, and that the Lord redeemed everyone, including atheists, with the blood of Christ, and they say that homosexuals are the children of the Lord and have the right to form families. Well, do we also have men of religion like them?

Islam has no priesthood

No, our religion has no factors for conforming to falsehood. Islam has no infallible men of religion speaking in the name of God, nor a central religious authority for individuals. Islam has no priesthood, no authority for anyone over the Book of God to delete or add or interpret texts, nor is it entrusted to the scribes and monks. There is no right of legislation for men of religion to permit or forbid, nor are there texts that say: "Whatever you bind on earth shall be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven." But in Islam, there are scholars ruled by the Book of God, not rulers: {So if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day.} Whoever of the scholars permits what is forbidden or forbids what is permitted has no value to his word nor dignity, so that Islam remains protected from alteration and conforming to falsehood.

Islam has no intermediation between the servant and his Lord, nor are there texts that say: "Whose sins you forgive, they are forgiven, and whose sins you withhold, they are withheld," so that the straight path remains clear and not tampered with by man. Islam's revelation is preserved, no falsehood comes to it from before or behind, a revelation from the Wise, the Praiseworthy, no falsehood in it nor distortion, so that its men are ashamed of it and are forced to flatter the people of falsehood under the slogan "keep quiet about us and we will keep quiet about you."

Islam Does Not Compromise with Falsehood

Islam does not compromise with falsehood nor does it follow the train of falsehood. It is the only one qualified to intercept the path of those who lead humanity astray. Without Islam and its preserved revelation, who saves humanity? Communism? Capitalism? And we see what each has done to humans.

Muslims: The Last Refuge

For all of this, indeed Islam is the last refuge for humanity. It has a historical and practical balance from the Prophetic model and the Righteous Caliphate, where there is moral, ethical, devotional, and legislative elevation. Therefore, the political analyst Dr. Akram Hijazi says, in meaning: "The enemies of humanity target the ideology of Islam with defamation, doubt, and confusion in a war aimed at dismantling the Muslim on an individual level for states and societies only. But Allah Almighty prepares the Muslims through these decrees so that the Muslim gathers his strength and raises his bow."

Muslims are the last refuge for humanity. They are the ones who are secure over the creation of Allah on earth. They are qualified with what they have of the revelation that says: {And I have not created the jinn and mankind except to worship Me}. They are qualified to save humanity from enslavement to those who lead them astray.

We do not deny that in contrast to the grim models we have presented about humanity, there are features of mercy, justice, and appreciation for man here and there. But these features are not the merit of the enemies of humanity, but rather remnants of the innate nature that Allah has created people upon. And the war now is on the innate nature to uproot what remains of it. And there is no refuge for people from that except Islam with its preserved revelation.

Responding to Objections About the Reality of Muslims

You may say: But all the problems of humanity that you mentioned are present among us as Muslims. Moral corruption, fraud, and deception. We oppress and enslave just as they oppress and enslave. Here, you are confusing Islam and its preserved principles on the one hand, and the reality of Muslims on the other. You have been influenced by those who use our painful reality to make us ashamed of our religion and not see it as a savior for humanity.

Then it is a clear injustice to confuse us Muslims with those who have dominated the necks of the nation, who work as a tail for their enemies, fighting their religion, humiliating them to the enemies of Allah, and enabling them to plunder the wealth of Muslims in exchange for a chair and a share in the theft. Then we come later and say: We imprison and enslave and plunder. These are not from us, and we are not from them, and only those who aid them and agree with their crime and hypocrisy share their sin. {Have you not seen those who took a people whom Allah has cursed upon them? They are not from you nor from them, and they swear to lies while they know}.

A Project to Save Humanity Begins with Saving Ourselves

Part of the project to save humanity is to save ourselves from the state of injustice we live in, and for the nation to strive to take charge of its affairs, choosing to become a model of truth and justice for nations to follow. Our poor condition is not a hindrance to the conviction that Muslims are the refuge of humanity.

Leaving the Task of Saving Humanity Leads to Humiliation

Know that one of the most important reasons for our current state of oppression and injustice is our abandonment of our duty to save humanity? Allah Almighty says: {Unless you go forth, He will punish you with a painful torment}. Go forth why? To fulfill your duty towards humanity and to repel the evil of its enemies.

The Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, said: "When you pledge allegiance to the eye and take the tails of cows and are content with farming and abandon jihad, Allah will impose humiliation upon you that will not be removed until you return to your religion." Meaning, and you abandon your duty in calling humanity to Islam and creating the appropriate pure environment naturally for generations, even non-Muslims, to grow up in a pure environment, choose their religion and system of life after seeing things as they truly are, and free them from those who enslave them, who turn them away from the path of Allah and make them deviate. Our abandonment of calling them has led to their elders being imposed upon us, and we have tasted the humiliation that Allah has imposed upon you, which will not be removed until you return to your religion.

Lessons from History

Look at what happened throughout history when Muslims turned to the world and became lazy in calling nations, so these nations were imposed upon them, like the Crusaders and the Tatars who invaded Muslim lands, destroyed their cities, and subjected Muslims to severe torment. While great goals raise aspirations and unite the word. Muslims in history suffered from economic disasters, epidemics, and internal conflicts, but all of this was contained if they fulfilled their duty of jihad and calling nations.

Contemporary Examples of Humanity's Decline

In conclusion, a documentary was published in 2017 showing how children are taught obscenity in a very filthy manner in European and American schools under the title "Sexual Education," at an early age, with the complicity of international organizations and leaders of major countries. How these countries in South America, Eastern Europe, and Africa are blackmailed to impose the teaching of these curricula and link it to loans. How the enemies of humanity benefit from this in promoting the profitable market of abortion and gender transformation. How they spread in sexual education lessons in Africa that you can, if you are infected with AIDS, practice sex without informing the other party, to get rid of humans through disease, in a systematic crime titled the war on innate nature, and the destruction of values for the purpose of enslaving humans for the sake of capitalist sharks.

The documentary with what it presents of clips is not suitable for publication, but we will work on extracting the most important parts of it, God willing. A French psychiatrist explains how a number of students complain of embarrassment, violation of privacy, and violation of modesty that they are exposed to in schools under the title of this education. And they are disgusted. And he asks: How did these lobbies manage to influence the policies of entire countries? We say simply: Because the compass was lost and these societies were cut off from their Creator. How easy it is for criminals to lead them astray.

One of my friends commented on the film saying: "This alone deserves the title: What has the world lost by the decline of Muslims?" For all of this, dear ones, yes, Muslims are the last refuge for humanity.

Conclusion and Questions for the Next Episode

You may say: Okay, what is required of me? How will my sense of responsibility reflect on my life? You may say: Even if I am convinced by your words, the humanity you are talking about will not hear my words, and I am in this backward civilizational and moral situation. You may say: Brother, you say, and if we fall behind in our role towards humanity, it is a sin, a sin, a sin. Is there no incentive? Is the sense of responsibility towards humanity a heavy burden only? But I say it is also a great blessing. How? We will answer these questions in the next episode, God willing, so stay tuned.

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.

Does the developed world need a religion that emerged in the Arabian Peninsula?
