Dear all, the best way to protect yourself from the new coronavirus is not to use any medication against this virus, nor the malaria medication that we have discussed.

Warning Against Misuse of Malaria Medication

I, dear ones, in the statement I published the day before yesterday, clearly stated that the mentioned malaria medication should not be used as a preventive measure, nor should it be used as a treatment for the general public with COVID. I explained who specifically needs it, and I emphasized that it is a mistake for people to rush to pharmacies to buy it as a precaution.

Despite all these clarifications, people rushed to buy it, and this medication ran out in pharmacies in Jordan, for example, and is now only dispensed with a specialist's prescription. Even the quantities in the warehouses, if they are released, are not dispensed without a specialist's prescription.

Is this primarily a result of my words, or because people heard the media? And here I repeat and emphasize that the medication has its side effects. The news about this medication was not hidden for a long time, but within a few hours, the American president announced the adoption of the medication for the treatment of COVID-19 in America.

However, what I did in my statement the day before yesterday is that I anticipated the events and put the talk about the medication in the appropriate context of warning against its misuse and explaining its side effects on certain people, and I explained who needs it and who does not. Nevertheless, honestly, brothers, one is not ready to bear the consequences that may come from the imbalance in people's handling of the matter.

Other Prevention Options

So, are there other prevention options besides this medication, besides medications in general against viruses? There are known procedures such as staying away from infected patients and having a balanced diet to strengthen immunity.

Caution Against Publishing Information About Nutritional Supplements

And there are various nutritional supplements, such as the flavonoids I mentioned, meaning from lemon with its peel and so on. No, there are nutritional supplements that have a stronger effect, but honestly, with the misuse that I fear may occur due to my words, I will avoid publishing this information to the general public.

People will go to pharmacies and take these supplements, and they may consume them in large quantities believing they are safe, then they will experience side effects, and the pharmacies will be depleted, depriving those who may need them later. No, I do not want this to happen.

Even if they are nutritional supplements, do not think there is something called a safe drug. A drug, if it is completely safe, means it is not beneficial. Any drug, even selected nutritional supplements, without some people's imbalance and misuse.

Launching a Specialized Scientific Website

We will soon launch, by the permission of Allah the Almighty, a specialized scientific website where we will publish this information and other general and specialized therapeutic benefits. I mean, I have been striving to launch this website for a long time, but due to the lack of time, perhaps this is the appropriate time to start publishing such information in a specialized language.

Because honestly, I fear again that it may be misused, although we emphasize, repeat, and increase, oh people, these are medications that you should not go and take as a precaution, you should not take them from your own initiative without a medical prescription. But there may be those who misuse this information.

Therefore, by the permission of Allah, we will publish useful information that we share with the specialist brothers, so that there is an exchange of ideas and a focus on the information. And in the end, if this information reaches a good number of specialists, doctors, healers, and pharmacists, then by the permission of Allah the Almighty, the benefit will reach the largest number of people.
