Introduction to the Importance of Submitting to the Divine Text

Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah, dear attendees. One of the most important topics that Muslims need in this time is the topic of submitting to the divine text, surrendering and complying with "Allah has said" and "the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, has said," and absolute obedience. This is the fruit of faith.

Allah the Almighty has said: {But no, by your Lord, they can have no Faith, until they make you (Muhammad) judge in all disputes between them, and find in themselves no resistance against your decisions, and accept (them) with full submission.}

Tricks of the Self in Not Submitting

A Muslim usually does not say, "I do not want to obey Allah the Almighty," or "I do not want to obey His Messenger" outright. However, the self may deceive him with some tricks. We often hear about these psychological tricks that many Muslims fall into.

For example, one may say that this text contradicts reason, or say, "My understanding is different from yours," and come up with an understanding that has no valid basis. Or one may say that reality compels me to contradict this text, or when this verse was revealed or this hadith was mentioned, the reality was different. Or, "I act according to what aligns with the purposes of the Shariah, even if it contradicts this text," so that he may evade obedience to the divine text.

Of course, we do not deny that there are jurisprudential differences, and these aspects are considered. However, many people want to delve into them without knowledge, turning them into excuses or loopholes to avoid committing to the divine text.

Course on Submitting to the Divine Text

Therefore, by the permission of Allah the Almighty, a course will be held to study a valuable book, which is the book "Submitting to the Divine Text and Modern Intellectual Objections."

The course mechanism will be that the participant reads a portion daily from this book, and then there will be a test after approximately two weeks from the start of the course. Those who achieve a score of seventy or above will be awarded a certificate signed by the author, by the permission of Allah the Almighty. During the reading, the author of the book will respond to your questions and objections, by the permission of Allah the Almighty.
