What is the stance on the Syrian National Coalition?

Analysis of the International Position Towards the Syrian Crisis

Brothers, those who follow the events clearly see that the Western world, along with the Zionist entity, was content, in fact, supportive of the massacres against the Muslim Syrian people. For over a year and a half, the criminal Alawite regime kills, rapes, tortures, and displaces, and the international community does not move a muscle except with malicious statements that focus on:

• Displeasure at the emergence of pure jihadi factions seeking to establish an Islamic rule after getting rid of Assad.
• Statements fearing the fall of chemical weapons into the hands of the mujahideen and their threat to the Zionist entity.
• Statements fearing that the prolonged conflict in Syria will lead to these jihadi factions gaining great popularity and support among the Syrian people.

Therefore, the international community has worked during this period to form a political and military entity, not to overthrow the Assad regime—this regime is bound to fall—but to prevent the establishment of a pure Islamic entity after Assad. The international community sometimes intervenes to keep Assad in power until the subordination of this entity and the exhaustion of the Syrian people and the fighting factions are ensured, so they may be satisfied with offering concessions.

And when the time was right and the jihadi phenomenon in Syria grew and was about to reap the fruit, the international community appeared to us with what is called the Syrian National Coalition.

Goals of the Syrian National Coalition

What is the purpose of forming this coalition?

1. To Become a New Puppet

This coalition is intended to become a new puppet in place of the Alawite regime, ensuring that Western powers secure their interests in the region, and ensuring that the Zionist entity continues to secure its borders, a role that the Alawite regime has played for more than forty years.

Brothers, this is not speculation or analysis, but it is the gist of their statements. Here is the Zionist Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu saying just last Wednesday that his country faces a new challenge in Syria due to the presence of forces affiliated with global jihad that are more hostile to Israel than the hostility that the Assad regime had previously shown. Therefore, the Zionist artillery shelled Syrian fighting forces last Sunday who were besieging Assad's forces and negotiating their surrender. The Zionist artillery intervened to lift the siege on Assad's forces.

2. Establishing a Western-Dependent Democratic State

This coalition is intended to establish a state that is democratic in name but Western-dependent in reality, to deprive the mujahideen of the opportunity to crown the jihad of the Syrian people with the establishment of an Islamic state. Therefore, French President François Hollande announced last Tuesday that France recognizes the Syrian National Coalition, and the West does not count on what is in a state of extreme ignorance of reality, and has been afflicted with the plague of impotence, inferiority complex, weakness, and despair that is intended to be entrenched in the hearts of Muslims.

3. Fighting and Eliminating the Mujahideen

Most importantly, the main role of this council. This coalition is intended to act on behalf of Western powers in fighting and eliminating the mujahideen.

The Image to be Drawn

The image to be drawn now is as follows:

Form a coalition of opposition forces to the Assad regime. This coalition enjoys religious and social legitimacy, as it is led by a sheikh and the son of a sheikh with a religious discourse and from a noble family with its stances. The declared mission of this coalition is to overthrow the Assad regime and stop the long suffering of the Syrian people. A great and difficult mission that cannot do without international support. The international community claims to be ready to provide this support, but it is concerned about the presence of extremist elements who may misuse this support.

Therefore, this coalition will invite the jihadi factions to rally under its banner and abandon some of their proposals that are worrying to the international community. Of course, these factions will not accept these conditions. Their refusal to do so will be seen as splitting ranks and missing historical opportunities to obtain support, as they claim. Therefore, in the eyes of the people, the existence of these factions will become the main obstacle to the struggle for freedom. The existence of these factions is the reason for their continued suffering. Indeed, the Alawite regime benefits from the existence of these factions as they prolong his stay and deter the international community from helping to fight him.

Therefore, what is the solution? The solution is to get rid of these jihadi factions. But they have a presence and popularity among the Muslim people. Therefore, a campaign to tarnish the image of these jihadi factions must be launched, carry out bloody terrorist operations and attribute them to the jihadi factions, provoke skirmishes between them and the followers of this new coalition, and portray them as having abandoned the war against Assad and turned to takfiri and explosive attacks against the followers and supporters of this coalition. This is the image that is intended to be drawn and convince people of it.

Statements of Western Leaders

Is what I say, brothers, conclusions, pessimism, and mistrust? No, it is exactly what Western leaders declare with utter audacity.

Here is Obama, here is Obama declaring that he refrains from supporting the coalition due to the presence of extremist elements on the ground in Syria. Therefore, what is required to allow arming? Getting rid of these elements. And just last Wednesday, November 14, 2012, he says: "We do not indirectly put weapons in the hands of a group that will harm Americans or Israelis or participate in acts that harm our national security."

Of course, they call the mujahideen infiltrated elements, otherwise, they know that they are the pulse of the Syrian street and enjoy growing popular support, otherwise, they would not have feared their presence. And the new coalition's president, Sheikh Al-Khatib, expressed this when he said in his first statement last Saturday: "Today, the United States recognized the coalition as the sole representative of the Syrian people, but it made this conditional on its certainty that the coalition truly represents the Syrian people. This is a historic moment. I pray to God that we do not disappoint you, so do not disappoint us, I beg you." He addresses the people. "I want the slogan of the upcoming Fridays to be: O Obama, do not fear, we are all with the coalition, O Obama, do not fear, we are all with the coalition." Then it seems that some of those around him informed him that this slogan is exaggerated in subservience and showing subordination, so he changed the slogan to: "O Obama, listen, listen, we are all with the coalition."

He also said in this speech: "We want first and foremost to unite and not have someone make a statement on a satellite channel that ruins everything and gives the impression that we are divided." Therefore, he and his group have become the sole legitimate representative, and whoever makes any statement outside of Western policies is a troublemaker who ruins everything and tears apart the unity of the Syrian people. Glory be to God!

And the subordination and implementation of the plans became clear in the words of this coalition president in his first speech: "I want signs thanking the French president, signs that the Syrian people are one, and signs that say no extremism, no terrorism. Understand, understand, my dear people. I want to show the subordination of the Syrian people and that there should be no extremism in their thoughts." Therefore, thanks to France and reassurance to Obama and disavowal of extremism and terrorism. Who knows extremism and judges a faction as terrorist? Of course, Obama, whom we reassure, and François Hollande, who will arm us.

The Required Role of the Coalition

Therefore, the role required of the coalition is the same role required of the Sahawat in Iraq, Karzai in Afghanistan, and Sheikh Sharif in Somalia: fighting the mujahideen and preventing the establishment of an Islamic state. And it must be done by a person who has religious legitimacy, such as Rabbani and Sayyaf in Afghanistan and Sheikh Sharif in Somalia. Therefore, calling this Western scheme the coalition is a poisoned name.

Summary and the Required

In summary, what is required of the Syrian people, the mujahideen, and the Islamic nations?

We say briefly, O Muslim people: Remember the saying of Allah the Almighty in Surah Al-A'raf after mentioning what Pharaoh had said: {We will kill their sons and let their women live. And indeed, we are over them, [putting them] to trial.} Moses said to his people: {Seek help through patience and prayer. Indeed, the earth belongs to Allah. He causes to inherit it whom He wills of His servants, and the [best] outcome is for the righteous.} They said: {We have been harmed before you came to us and since you have come to us.} He said: {Perhaps your Lord will destroy your enemy and make you successors in the land and see how you will do.}

Seek help in Allah and be patient, the outcome is for the righteous. They said: {We have been harmed before you came to us and since you have come to us}, as if they were hinting that our harm was related to you, O Moses. For Pharaoh killed our sons out of fear of your emergence as a prophet who would bring about his destruction, and now Pharaoh is killing us and taking our women captive because we believed in you. The trial has been long, and we see no end to this suffering. The people of Moses were exhausted and shaken, but he spoke with confident and reassuring language: {Perhaps your Lord will destroy your enemy and make you successors in the land and see how you will do.}

So stand, O people, with the sincere mujahideen who have sacrificed their lives for you and left their countries and children to defend your honor and do not carry out the agenda of anyone, but rather that the word of Allah be the highest. The belief that there is no victory for the Syrian people except through the intervention of the international community is a corrupt belief and a bad opinion of Allah, may He protect you from it, O Syrian people. Rather, Allah the Almighty has shown you the signs of victory at the hands of a group of mujahideen whom no state supports, and the international community only gathers after seeing what they did not expect from victories for this believing group.

So turn to your brothers and rally around them: {Your ally is none but Allah and [then] the believers - those who establish prayer and give zakah, and while they are raking.} And whoever takes Allah and His Messenger and those who believe as allies - then indeed, the party of Allah - they are the victorious.

Then, O our masters, the mujahideen in Syria, despite your different factions, O you who fight to aid your brothers and to establish a pure Islamic rule, if you attain the support of Allah, then their plot is doomed. You are not the ones who will stand before them at that time, but {And they plan, and Allah plans. And Allah is the best of planners.}

And O you Islamic nations, Syria is now the hope. It is not befitting for it to be anything but the Syria of dignity and faith, not the Syria of humiliation, subservience, and hypocrisy. Those who defend the honor of Muslim women and want the word of Allah to be the highest, they have a right over you to support them in every possible way. So support them and do not abandon them. {And Allah is dominant over His affair, but most of the people do not know.}
