The Fruits of Patience in Da'wah Work
Sometimes you perform an act for the sake of Allah, yet do not see its immediate impact. You speak, advise, defend the religion of Allah, strive to protect the Muslims and their natural disposition (fitrah), only to witness the people of falsehood persisting in their ways, and many of the very things you warned against being imposed in some Muslim lands.
At such moments, Satan may whisper to you: "What’s the point? We toiled, yet nothing has changed." But the truth is that Allah, the Exalted, stores these fruits and distributes them as He wills.
The Impact of the "War on Fitrah" Series
In the story of a brother who repented from pornography, he said: "It was not until Allah guided me through His grace, bounty, mercy, and forbearance that I discovered your series, Dr. Iyad, titled 'The War on Fitrah.'" He then described how the series was the reason he abandoned his addiction to pornography, particularly the episode titled "Shocking Truths: Trading in the Name of Children’s and Minors’ Rights."
In reality, my brothers, this series did not come from nowhere. It emerged from pain for the Muslims and their natural disposition, and from fear of laws and changes being imposed under the guise of protecting children—laws whose true nature opens dangerous doors for children and families.
Perseverance in the Face of Challenges
Yes, what we warned against has been imposed in some lands, but this was not a reason to stop or despair. Instead, it became a reason to persist. Look at how Allah orchestrates an act you may think has limited impact, only for it to become the means of guiding a young man drowning in pornography, returning him to Allah, and enabling him to become, in turn, a caller who guides others to Allah by his example.
This is an invitation for you to attend "The War on Fitrah" series, which offers a powerful dose of awareness, a sense of responsibility, and a way to rise above falling into the traps of our enemies. It is suitable for those who are fifteen or sixteen years old and above.
Practical Initiatives: The "You Matter" Competition
By the way, the imposition of these laws also motivated us to launch the "You Matter" competition, aimed at rescuing as many Muslim youth as possible. We have already seen its impact, which I believe is a great blessing from Allah the Almighty.
So, the lesson here, my brothers, is to offer whatever you can in defense of the religion. Do not say, "We spoke, yet nothing changed," nor "Falsehood has spread, and that’s the end of it." Do what you can—you may not see the fruit now, but Allah places your words in the heart of a person you do not know and at a time you do not expect, making it the cause of their salvation and the salvation of others with them.
Yes, you work for Allah, and Allah causes your work to yield what you could never imagine.
