Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.

Imagine, my brothers, if a person who does not know how to swim says, "I love to swim in any pool I pass, regardless of its depth, and regardless of whether it is polluted or not." Would such a person be described as rational, open-minded, and enlightened?

Is he not exactly like someone who opens his ears to everyone who speaks about Islam and the interpretation of the Quran, even with strange and odd speech that contradicts the consensus of the nation over the centuries, and then this listener says to you, "I love to listen to everyone and then decide with my mind," thinking of himself as enlightened and not closed-minded?

The Illusion of Openness to Doubts

Do these doubting speakers have strong arguments that we should fear for you? No, by Allah, but the problem is not in their strength but in the weakness of those who listen to them. The skilled swimmer swims in a deep sea, and the one who does not know how to swim drowns in a small pool, and doubts are the same.

Do you consider yourself open-minded when you listen to these people? Okay, I want you to ask yourself, my brother: Have you opened yourself to the pursuit of beneficial knowledge that distinguishes truth from falsehood? Is openness to doubts when you have not yet opened yourself to knowledge itself?

Have you opened yourself to piety and distanced yourself from what you know for certain is a sin to keep the mirror of your insight pure, distinguishing truth from falsehood? May Allah grant you the discernment as in His saying: {O you who have believed, if you fear Allah, He will make for you a criterion} by which you distinguish between truth and falsehood.

Have you opened yourself to reading the Quran with contemplation and reflection as Allah commanded you to understand the meaning of His saying: {And that the verses of the Quran are clear} before the crows of satellite channels cast doubt on what the nation was upon? Or are the crows of satellite channels the believers intended in this verse in your view?

Have you opened yourself to His saying: {But if they believe in what you have believed, then they are rightly guided} in what you have believed, O companions of Muhammad, and not in what the crows of satellite channels promote?

Have you opened yourself to studying what the enemies of Islam do to divert you from your religion? Have you reviewed the reports of Western strategic planning centers that state that one of their strategies is to export those who distort Islam according to their whims, paralyzing you from resisting your enemies?

Brother, if you have time to enlighten yourself, there are many things from what we mentioned that you can enlighten yourself with.

True Enlightenment and Fortification

Have you opened yourself to the saying of Allah: {And those who do not bear witness to falsehood, and when they pass by ill speech, they pass by with dignity} and His saying: {And when they hear ill speech, they turn away from it}? Is there any clearer nonsense than the nonsense of your enemies whose slogan is: {Do not listen to this Quran and make noise in it, perhaps you will overcome}?

Have you opened yourself to the fact that when the Prophet (peace be upon him) saw a paper with Umar containing something from the Torah, he was angry with him (peace be upon him)? Was Umar weak like your weakness? Never, but despite that, the Prophet (peace be upon him) was keen that we Muslims purify our source of reception. Or are you not open to any of that? And closed with all that? And have you blocked your mind from all that? And you come to open yourself to what? To the poisons of the crows of satellite channels?

Look at the magnitude of the tragedy when you fall short in seeking beneficial knowledge, then dim the light of your insight with sins, then ignore the plans of your enemies and their studies, then expose yourself to the temptations of doubts, disobeying Allah in all these stations, and you fall prey to them, then you cry and wail: "Why is Islam not clear? Why, my Lord, did you not guide me?" {Say, it is from yourselves}.

Alternative to the Sultan's Scholars

You will say to me: "I listen to them because I have lost confidence in the scholars of the sultan." I will say to you then: "I have not lost confidence in the scholars of the sultan, but I have never trusted them, praise be to Allah." But is the alternative to them the crows that come out of the back door of the sultan's house and on his satellites with their support? Or is the alternative to seek the true, marginalized Rabbani scholars?

Are not the sultans who imprison scholars and preachers, not even with any declared recent excuse, the same ones who issue the crows of satellite channels and open the fields for them? Are not the same authorities that broadcast series promoting adultery between neighbors and leaving strays at the doors of mosques the same ones that issue the doubting crows of satellite channels for you to listen to?

Poisons of Ideas

If I tell you: "I love to taste any food offered to me, then decide whether to continue eating it or not," even if the food is presented to me by my enemy who I know for certain is eager to poison me, and even with my knowledge that there are poisons that poison without color or taste, would I be enlightened, rational, and liberated?

A net is imposed on you by its owners saying, "Come, let us hunt you," and you walk towards it, is this enlightenment, brother? Is this enlightenment?

Occupying Scholars and Reformers

For days, I received a list of research by virtuous brothers in which they respond to one of the crows of satellite channels, their effort is appreciated, but the painful reality in the matter is the amount of effort and time spent in responding to trivialities that have no value if people had some immunity.

Is it reasonable, brother, that every time a new crow comes out on satellite channels, the remaining reformers outside prisons should confront him? To refute his falsehood, respond to his nonsense, and track his lies? By Allah, is this not an effective and excellent way for our enemies to occupy the time of scholars and reformers?

Will we not reach a stage of scientific, intellectual, and psychological immunity so that we can all move together to a stage of reviving our nation and restoring its glory?

Conclusion: True Enlightenment

Therefore, in conclusion, my brothers, I call every open-minded person instead of opening up to the garbage displayed on the channels of criminals, I call him to open up to the true enlightenment that we mentioned, which is summarized in: contemplating the Quran, beneficial knowledge, piety that balances the heart, understanding reality, and the plans of the enemies.
