In support of the just causes of Egyptians - Neither Morsi nor his opponents
Greetings and General Message
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.
This message is directed to my brothers from the Egyptian people as a whole, transcending the artificial borders, in belief of our Lord's saying: "Indeed, this is your nation as one nation." I am free from the constraints of supporting a party or an individual. I have long advocated that Islam has not yet entered the battle, and those who have practiced politics in Egypt have misrepresented Islam and failed to lead the revolution to achieve the good of this world and the hereafter. I have faced attacks and ridicule from some of them for this stance.
I am not a supporter of Muhammad Morsi; rather, I am one of his opponents because he chose the satisfaction of the remnants, the church, and America over the satisfaction of Allah and the satisfaction of his people who are Muslims. This message is not concerned with whether Morsi remains president or not. As long as the Egyptian train track leads to the abyss, it makes no difference whether Morsi or someone else is driving it.
I do not aspire to anything from you, my Egyptian brother, nor do I frighten you. I cannot run for election to take your vote, nor do I fear you harming me while I am here in Amman. However, Egypt is the mother of the Islamic world, and our nation is saved by her salvation. Therefore, allow me to speak as one of you, calling out to my brothers and loved ones from the Egyptian people: O free Egyptians, be supporters of Allah, not supporters of Morsi, nor supporters of the parties claiming to be Islamic, nor supporters of the remnants, nor supporters of those who portray to you that Islam has failed because of its bearer. Rather, be as Allah commanded, supporters of Allah.
Diagnosing the Problem and the Path to Salvation
Let us identify the problem from its cause and how to be saved from it, and the mistakes we might make in these days that will only increase our loss and distance us from Allah.
We all agree on the existence of worldly living problems, and we have the right to demand a decent life. I will not repeat the "Islam is the solution, so vote for me to achieve worldly welfare through Islam" record for you. Instead, I will tell you, whether you like it or not: "There is no decent life except by the religion of Allah the Almighty."
Why Doesn't What Applies to Others Apply to Us?
Look, here are the disbelievers enjoying their lives. We are a different story, my friend, and what applies to others will not apply to us. Why? Allah the Almighty said: {You are the best nation ever brought forth to mankind.} We have taken Allah as soldiers for the guidance of people. If we do not fulfill this mission, Allah will not treat us as He treats other nations, but He will punish us in this world to save us. This is out of His mercy towards the nation of Muhammad, peace be upon him, that He does not leave it in its heedlessness and reserves the punishment for the Hereafter, but rather brings it back to Him with the trials of this world. The humiliation imposed on us is because we have abandoned our mission, as the beloved Prophet, peace be upon him, said: "Allah has imposed humiliation upon you that He will not remove from you until..."
Critique of the Performance of Islamists and the Deep State
When we voted for the Islamists, did we not choose the religion? Not at all. What we did was to put bearded men in the control room of a train running on a track drawn by the deep state and military leaders loyal to America and Zionism. This track has been predetermined for decades, passing through deserts of erasing the Islamic identity and deserts of slavery to America, making our country beg for bread from them.
The affiliates of Islamic work made a grave mistake, indeed they disobeyed their Lord by accepting to lead this train. And we, the people, also erred with them by not working to change the track. The affiliates of Islamic work erred by not leading the people to the path of glory and sacrifice to dismantle the deep state and the corrupt military leadership, to rebuild the country on piety and the pleasure of Allah, no matter the cost.
And we, the Egyptians, erred by obeying these Islamists out of fear of paying the price of dignity. May Allah have mercy on the son of Egypt, Sayyid Qutb, when he said: "I have seen entire nations pity the cost of freedom once, yet they continue to pay the taxes of slavery many times. There must be a tax that individuals pay, that groups pay, and that nations pay. Either you pay those taxes for honor, dignity, and freedom, or you pay for humiliation, degradation, and slavery."
Diagnosing the Real Problem and the Wrong Solutions
So let us diagnose the problem: we have not sacrificed for the sake of Allah sincerely to deserve the good life He promised, and we have been silent about the reconciliation of the forces claiming to be Islamic with the remnants of the criminal regime, and everyone is a partner in this mistake.
What Is Not a Solution:
- The solution is not to call back the remnants to lead the train again.
- Keeping Morsi in the control room will not solve the problem either.
- The solution is not to blame Islam for the failure, for pure Islam is innocent of what has happened and has not entered the battle. Rather, it is we who thought we could use Islam to serve us instead of serving it sincerely and sacrificing for it, ready to pay the price of dignity to achieve the promised blessings of Allah.
- The solution is not to oppose every religious appearance, for what we are experiencing is the result of our abandonment of Islam. Its cure is not to fight Islam.
- The solution is not to ally with the followers of the church who want to ride on the back of the Egyptian Muslim people, boldly declaring that there is no political Islam after thirty-six, thereby imposing on the people that Islam has failed in governance. Those who trade with the blood and pain of the Egyptian people and show concern for meeting their demands are the ones who lived under Hosni Mubarak for decades, enjoying his corruption and sharing his injustice, never standing with their people.
- The solution is not to make yourself, O Egyptian, fuel for their dreams and personal ambitions.
- The solution is not to see the flag of Islam fall because its bearers have miscarried it, so you participate in trampling the flag. Rather, the solution is for you to carry it, dust it off, and fulfill its trust after its previous bearers failed to do so. Otherwise, you will have no excuse before Allah on the Day of Judgment, and He has said to you: {O you who have believed, do not betray Allah and His Messenger or betray your trusts while you know.} And it will not benefit you to say on that day: "O my Lord, what the Islamists did and did," when you did not fulfill the mission?
Warning Against Oppressing Muslims:
So the solution is not to strike or harm a Muslim without right, O brother, and you know that among the bearded and the veiled, there are those who are innocent of what has happened and did not approve of the Islamists entering the train of the abyss in the first place, or they voted for them deceived by them, but then they did not approve of their actions. Indeed, if you oppress a believer in these days, you bring the wrath of Allah upon your country. In Surah Ya Sin, when the people of a village oppressed a single believing man and killed him, what did Allah the Almighty say: {And We did not send upon his people after him any soldiers from the heaven, and We were not to send. * It was not but one cry, and behold, they were silent.} In the sacred hadith: "O My servants, I have forbidden injustice for Myself and made it forbidden among you, so do not oppress one another." So may Allah have mercy on you, do not be in the company of people who call for harming every one with an Islamic appearance, {And let not the hatred of a people prevent you from being just.} I say this to you after publishing a statement titled "What Do We Do in Thirty-Six," in which I say to the religious: "Do not go to support Morsi, for his rule is not a legal one to defend," and some of his supporters still attack me for that.
The Real Enemy and Effective Solutions
Peace be upon you. Neither Morsi nor any other leader, whether sincere or not, will save the country as long as there is an unjust judicial system that acquits Mubarak's thugs of the blood of your sons and brothers. The deep state, the judicial system, the top military brass, behind them America, the Zionist entity, and the international system, will watch as the Egyptian people kill each other while they remain safe, even though they are the real cause of the problem. All they care about is that the winner of the battle pledges loyalty and obedience to them and guarantees the subjugation of the Egyptians' necks.
So either we revolt against the real oppressors, not against your brothers and sons who wear beards and veils. Does it make sense, O noble Egyptian people, that you fear revolting against the deep state and then show your courage against your own children and brothers? Does it make sense, O noble Egyptian people, that you fear revolting against the deep state and then show your courage against your own children and brothers? O Egyptian people known for your strong religious emotions, does it make sense that fools in your land dare to threaten every bearded man and every veiled woman? Is this a revolution against Morsi's rule or a rebellion against Allah, the Almighty?
If the Messenger of Allah were among us, would you say, "O Messenger of Allah, we will make the application of your apparent Sunnah a crime for which people are punished"?
I do not care if you revolt against Morsi or against someone else, but I fear for you that you fight against the religion of Allah while you do not feel it. If my beloved brother is killed in violence, for what cause will your death be? If you die in a battle against those who are the real cause of the affliction, you will be a martyr. And if you die while revolting against every Islamic appearance, with what will you meet Allah?
If your demand is to live with dignity, it is a legitimate demand. If your demand is to get rid of the hegemony of the international system and those who support it and subjugate the country to it, whoever they are, it is also a legitimate demand. These demands need pure leadership. And the wombs of noble Egyptian women have not failed to give birth to believing heroes who are sincere to their Lord, rejecting injustice. Demands that need to be distinguished from the ranks of the church followers and the remnants, for Allah will not send down blessings or mercy upon a rank that includes them.
A Final Call and Supplication
O free Egyptian, if you want salvation for your country, if you want salvation for your country, then reconcile with Allah, carry the banner of Islam after its bearers have abandoned it, and fulfill the trust after they have wasted it. Know your real enemy, know your real enemy, and glorify Allah, and do not allow anyone to diminish His religion while you are alive.
If a malicious hypocrite says, "Islam has failed in ruling Egypt," say to him, "You lie, but its bearers have failed." For the promise of Allah is true: "Those who have believed among you and done righteous deeds - indeed, We will surely cause them to inherit the earth just as We caused those before them to inherit it. And We will surely establish for them therein their religion which We have preferred for them. And We will surely give in exchange a safety after their fear, while they worship Me and they associate none with Me."
If a malicious person says, "Strike every bearded man," say to him, "You have gone astray. I will not make the Sunnah of my beloved, the chosen one, peace be upon him, a crime to strike against, while I hope to respond to his noble basin on the Day of Judgment." "And no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another."
O Egyptian lover of Allah and His Messenger, strive to prevent injustice in these days so that your country may deserve the mercy of Allah, the Most High. "The merciful will be shown mercy by the Most Merciful. Show mercy to those on the earth, and the One in the heaven will show mercy to you."
O Allah, save Egypt and its people, and rule over it with one who shows mercy to the people and who is not affected by the blame of the blamers. Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.
