Introduction: An Illustrative Example of Misuse of Medicine
Peace be upon you. Allow me to speak in colloquial language so that the speech is understood by both the young and the old. Imagine there are viruses spreading that cause harmful diseases, and we are given a medicine to prevent this virus. Some of those who used the medicine misused it, and side effects appeared in them.
Imagine if someone came out and said: "I conducted a study and it showed me that most of those who suffered from side effects were under the age of 18, and based on this, we should prevent those under eighteen from using this medicine." And imagine if we discovered that the person who is demanding the ban on the medicine is the one who is spreading the virus! Isn't this evidence of malice and that he does not care about the welfare of minors at all?
Message from a Student: Early Marriage in the Curriculum
Let's apply this example to reality. One of the students sent me a message saying: "I want advice from Dr. Iyad in a certain subject - I will not mention its name to preserve privacy - where we studied about early marriage, and the teacher's presentation was very negative, and she added to the badness of the book another bad thing; she said that early marriage is a crime, and civilized countries prohibit it, and it is a step that is not compatible with sufficient maturity and exposes marriage to failure and divorce. I was really distressed by the class, but I could not say a word and preferred silence, so what do you advise me to do?"
My words today aim to respond to this jealous daughter of ours, and to warn teachers and doctors: Do not be negligent and be a puppet in the hands of your enemies. I warn you from being agents who help the enemies of fitrah and the family to destroy our societies for the sake of another month's salary.
The Truth About the Agendas of the United Nations and the War on Fitrah
Those who attended the series "The War on Fitrah" will know why this focus on preventing marriage before the age of eighteen, and will know the truth about the United Nations, which calls for criminalizing this marriage, and that the issue is not the protection of minors. There are those who exaggerate the matter and depict an image of a child holding a toy and her father dragging her forcibly to a grown man who sees in her nothing but instinct, and the gullible one comes and opens a "wailing" without knowing that those who move the strings from behind the scenes aim to close the doors of halal and open the doors of haram.
The same international covenants that call for criminalizing marriage before the age of eighteen also call for allowing fornication (consensual relationships) for young men and women of the same age! This is the disgusting degradation. Sweden, which funds one of its associations with books to combat the marriage of child girls, is the same one that snatches Muslim children to raise them "homosexuals," and it is the one in which the Quran is burned under police protection. We do not stand in the position of the defender, but the enemies of fitrah are the ones who stand in the position of evil.
Islamic Marriage Standards vs. Western Standards
We are against the marriage of a girl or a young man before the age of eighteen or after if they are not psychologically, educationally, and physically prepared, not because we legislate from ourselves, but because our religion requires competence and ability. But the enemies of fitrah want to corrupt you; studies indicate that the age of puberty worldwide for girls is between 8-13 years, and for boys between 9-14 years. These intervening years between puberty and the age of eighteen, the enemies of fitrah want to monopolize you in them, to destroy your morals with their intellectual viruses and prevent you from the "medicine" of halal.
Are these criminals ready to launch programs to teach you the correct marriage? Or the roles of the family, affection, and mercy? Of course not, but they are "home invaders," and their associations collect statistics on divorce and cases to receive their rewards from international organizations.
The Glaring Contradiction: Encouraging Fornication and Criminalizing Halal
They prohibit halal marriage, and in contrast, they encourage fornication through platforms such as "Netflix" and series targeting school students (such as the series "Jinn" and "Rawabi School"). They impoverish Muslim peoples with systematic impoverishment to kill the hope of youth for marriage even after the age of twenty-eight.
In one of the Arab countries, the Minister of Justice recently stated the tendency to abolish the criminalization of breaking the fast in Ramadan and the criminalization of "consensual relationships" (fornication), and at the same time, campaigns are launched to deter people from marriage before the age of eighteen. If the intentions were good, they would have put curricula to mature the personality of youth and prepare them for successful marriage, but their goal is completely different.
The "BBC" published an article about a campaign in the Indian state of "Assam" (inhabited by millions of Muslims) against child marriage. The article talks about "Mumtaz Khatun" who married at the age of 17 to a kind farmer who saved her from orphanhood and poverty and rewarded her with love and affection.
After she became pregnant in her seventh month, the police arrested her husband (22 years old) on charges of marrying her while she was a "minor" with retroactive effect! Now she is alone without a provider and screams: "Where do I go? My child and I will die of hunger." More than 8,000 people have been arrested, including fathers and religious scholars who performed the marriage contract. Where is the United Nations regarding this tragedy? It did not open its mouth because what India is doing is implementing their agenda to destroy Muslim families.
Slaves of the United Nations and Contradiction of Sharia
Oh teacher, this is your Sharia; the Sharia of the United Nations instead of the Sharia of the Lord of the Worlds, and woe to the oppressors. Oh slaves of the United Nations, have you not read the saying of Allah the Almighty: {They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah, and [also] the Messiah, the son of Mary}. Hatem Al-Ta'i said to the Prophet ﷺ: "We do not worship them," so our Prophet ﷺ said: "Do they not prohibit what Allah has permitted, so you prohibit it, and permit what Allah has prohibited, so you permit it?" He said: Yes, the Messenger of Allah said: "Then that is their worship."
This is exactly what the United Nations is doing; they permit fornication and perversion and prohibit marriage before the age of eighteen. So any teacher or doctor who promotes their ideas after knowing their truth is a worshiper of them besides Allah the Almighty. We, as Muslims, have our distinction; we solve our problems with the Sharia of our Lord, Glorified and Exalted be He, not with the leftovers of others' ideas.
The Lies of Statistics and Fake Science
All that they talk about in terms of statistics and recent studies claiming that early marriage is the cause of problems is nothing but "makeup" for the moral degradation they want. They do not tell you about the rates of failure in forbidden relationships or the destruction of psychology due to fornication. But they may one day reach the point of criminalizing marriage itself.
Oh teacher, oh doctor, determine your position; are you a slave to Allah the Almighty or a slave to the enemies of fitrah for the sake of rewards and promotions? Remember that the hypocrites of old said: {Do not spend on those who are with the Messenger of Allah until they disperse}, and the hypocrites of today use the same method: "Do not give raises to teachers, do not promote them, do not give universities advantages in global rankings until they disperse from the religion of the Messenger of Allah and the morals of Islam." They have bought their consciences with money, and Allah the Almighty has responded to them: {And to Allah belong the treasures of the heavens and the earth, but the hypocrites do not understand}.
A Message to the Youth: You Are Not Hypocrites
Oh my sons and daughters, those who say, "I love God and I want to obey, but temptations are many, marriage is far away, and I feel like a hypocrite because I disobey God," you are not hypocrites. You are victims of a corrupt culture and systematic impoverishment. Your enemies want hardship and suffering for you, as Allah says: {They wish that you would suffer a great loss. Hatred has already appeared from their mouths, and what their breasts conceal is greater.} (Quran 2:91)
Allah wants ease and purity for you: {Allah wants to make clear to you and guide you to the ways of those before you and to accept your repentance. And Allah is Knowing and Wise. And Allah wants to accept your repentance, and those who follow their passions want you to deviate a great deviation.} (Quran 4:26-27) The instinct should be a blessing for the survival of humanity and the attainment of affection, not a torment.
The correct Islamic condition is a pure education that matures personalities early, and a fair distribution of wealth that enables the youth to work and marry with a "halal girl" so that he can direct his energy towards building the earth, not towards struggling with the deprived instinct.
A Final Call: We Heard Your Voice
I beg you, my children, do not hate yourselves. The hypocrites are those who spread viruses and prevent the cure. They are the ones who call for the protection of minors but remain silent about the tragedy of "Mumtaz Khatoon" and thousands of girls in India. Be patient and do not fall into the trap of your enemies. Erase your sins with good deeds: {Indeed, good deeds remove evil deeds.} (Quran 11:114)
