The Extent of Allah's Planning and the Limitations of Human Means
At times, a person limits the means of relief to a few options, seeing no way out. They might say to themselves, "It's impossible! How can this distress be relieved except by choice (A), (B), or (C)?" Yet Allah the Exalted brings relief from where the servant does not expect.
I have, by the way, attended several sessions by Dr. Ahmad Abd al-Mun'im—may God preserve him—on the interpretation of Surah Yusuf, in which he mentioned some delicate points, some of which I have shared and others I will mention, God willing.
Allah's Decree and Sudden Relief
Among the delicate points mentioned in this context is the concept of "the words of Allah never run out." Reflect on His words:
And if all the trees on earth were pens, and the sea—supplying it after its own depletion—were seven more seas, the words of Allah would not be exhausted. Indeed, Allah is Exalted in Might and Wise.
Among the words of Allah are His "decree words." Allah the Most High may bring about a cause through a single word that you would never have imagined. As a human, you have limited options and constrained thinking, but Allah the Exalted is not limited by these options at all. His power is boundless.
