The Response to Espetalia - "We Have Science, Not Religion"!

Peace be upon you. One of the program hosts aired an episode titled "How Did Creation Begin." This episode needs to be addressed because it represents a high dose of intellectual diseases and problems that need treatment. Allow me to speak in Egyptian Arabic, even though I am not Egyptian, to make the conversation as easy as possible for our youth.

The Symbiogenesis Hypothesis

The gist of the episode is that there is a hypothesis to explain the beginning of organisms called the symbiogenesis hypothesis. According to this hypothesis, the cell that makes up our bodies and other organisms, which appears to be extremely complex with everything in its right place, may be simpler than we think. Perhaps the components of this cell do not originally belong to it. Instead, in ancient times, there was a simple cell whose origin we do not know, and next to it was a cell or a proto-cell, the mitochondrion. In some way we do not understand, when the simple cell met the mitochondrion and they coexisted with each other, a complex cell was formed and began to divide until it gave rise to the organisms we see today.

According to Espetalia, the mitochondrion moved into the cells on its own and has no relation to the cell's system. Perhaps the components of this cell do not belong to it. Perhaps, for example, one day it was a free and independent organism with its own system and function, and the cell itself was also a simple organism living freely and not lacking anything, until at some moment they merged together, became one with each other, and became a single entity. This entity is the cell we know in its current form. It divided and multiplied and multiplied and multiplied into billions of cells that form complex organisms like algae, fungi, plants, animals, and us.

And this mitochondrion resembles bacteria, so perhaps its origin is bacteria? So the great creation that you see is a simple thing, its beginning was some bacteria. And as the program host put it: "Three billion years ago, some bacteria said to themselves: 'What is this trouble?' They were granted the greatness. So they created the greatness that you see today." And the bacteria are the ones who created the great organisms over millions of years. Millions of years and billions of billions of interacting bacteria can create what?

Responding to Objections

So where is the creation of God for the organisms and the signs of the creation of Adam in this story? Where is God the Creator, the Fashioner, with His most beautiful names? When someone would object to this in the comments, the program host would always respond: "This is a scientific program. If you have other interests, you can look for them on other channels." And if someone objects, she would say to her: "So where is the Creator and His greatness?" She would respond to her: "This is a scientific program. If you have other interests, you can watch them on other channels."

Oh, so the words of Espetalia are science, and the creation and the verses of the Quran are not science. So you, people of religion, do not impose the Quran on us. Go watch the religious channels and stir the emotions, and leave science to us, the lovers of science. Be careful, the host of Espetalia does not say that the Quran does not contradict her words, as the proponents of the theory of evolution do "it does not contradict Islam." No, she considers that the phrase "God created the organisms" is not science at all.

Look, brothers, it is good that many of the commentators were objecting, but many also did not know how to respond to her when she says to them that this is science. So in this episode, I want to walk with you to understand everything, so that when someone speaks in this way, you know how to respond, so that it becomes clear who is the ignorant and who is the knowledgeable.

Is the Quran Science?

I will talk about three topics: First: When we say that God created the organisms and humans, is this statement from science? Or is the entire Quran science? Second: Is the symbiogenesis hypothesis and similar hypotheses science? Third: I will talk about a video that spread by Dr. James Tour, the respected scientist in organic synthetic chemistry, at the same time that Espetalia aired its episode about the beginning of creation.

Those who will object should not come to discuss something they do not understand at all, because he does not want to sit for three hours listening to speech that may change his life. No, he will go listen to the details later and then speak. Every sentence I say, I will present to you the episode in which I said it in detail.

First: Islam is not like any other religion, so do not put Islam with the corrupted religions and say that religion contradicts science. The issue is not that Islam does not contradict science, nor that it encourages science, but that science does not exist at all except for the sources of science, which are the intellectual necessities, innate sense, experience, and reason. And all of these have no value except in the light of faith in the existence of a Creator of absolute perfection.

What does this mean? It means that if someone tells you that the creatures, including you and your mind and thinking, all appeared like this by chance and random changes, and you are subject to them, then say to him, as you put your foot on your foot: "Tell me, how can I trust my mind at that time and its judgments? And how will I use it to produce science?" That is, if a ruler is not made intentionally, there is no guarantee that it is made correctly, so how can I trust its measurements and readings?

And even the atheist scientists never produced science except after they used the same tools or sources of science that the believing scientists used. So it is not their atheism that produced their sciences. So the correct question is not "How can an atheist produce science?" But rather, when he produced science, was it in harmony with his atheism or did he have to practically contradict it to produce science? The mind that guides you to empirical experimental science is the same mind that proves the existence of the Creator.

Science in Islam and the Unseen

The circle of science is wide, and empirical experimental science is a part of this circle. The origin of creatures does not enter the circle of "science" because it is not subject to observation nor to experimentation. The origin of creatures is unseen, and the unseen is not within the jurisdiction of "science," because the jurisdiction of "science" is the world of testimony, not the world of the unseen. And the meaning of unseen is what is hidden from us in its presence and observation, and therefore there is a correct unseen and there is an unseen of superstition and falsehood and fabrication. And here comes the role of reason and correct experience.

And the "science" that the host of Espetalia speaks about the beginning of creation is the same unseen, not "science." It is that in ancient times, a cell merged with the mitochondrion and bacteria created everything, this is unseen because no one saw this nor observed it. And what Darwin said about the evolution of organisms from one another is also unseen, not "science," because no one has experimented with anything from this speech nor observed it, so it is not within empirical experimental science. So in the end, everyone will have to speak about the unseen, but the difference between the unseen in Islam and their unseen is that the unseen of Islam we accept it after we first use our minds to prove the existence of a wise and knowledgeable Creator, that is, after considering the evidence and the universe and the creatures, and after we use our minds to believe that the Quran is indeed from the Creator, and thus believe the news of the creation of man and the rest of the creatures and paradise and hell and the jinn and the angels, etc.

So when the Quran informs that God created Adam and created the creatures, this is based on evidence first of reason that there must be a Creator, not by chance nor randomly nor blind selection. Second, experiential evidence about the way Adam was created by the power of God, at a time that Espetalia nor Darwin nor all of empirical experimental science did not witness nor observe. This is the type of evidence that can be inferred in this matter: rational, experiential, and scientific. The evidence of the origin of creatures is not "science" because it is not within the jurisdiction of "science."

Criticizing Foolish Hypotheses

As for the emergence of coacervation, the theory of evolution, and the self-created universe, all of this is unseen, but it is foolish unseen. No, you are talking about foolish hypotheses that they had to create to convince people that there is no need for a Creator, and they blindly advocate for them. To understand more types of evidence, if you saw a mobile device on a table, you would know by logical evidence that this device must have a maker. You can disassemble the device and understand its parts, their relationship with each other, and how it works, and this is like observational science. Then someone you know from many pieces of evidence tells you that a certain manufacturer made the device, so this is testimonial evidence.

If someone came and said, based on my knowledge of the parts and how they work, I will create scenarios explaining how this device could have assembled itself by chance, then this is not called science, this is called ignorance and nonsense. Therefore, Islam, my brothers, is all about science. There are things based on observational scientific evidence "scientific," there are things based on logical evidence, and there are things based on testimonial evidence. The Quran uses all these types of evidence. It is not mere emotional appeal or convictions without evidence, nor is it the fabrication of false science priests.

Therefore, Allah the Almighty says: {Say, "Do you have any knowledge that you can produce before us? You follow not except assumption, and you are not but lying."} And He says: {And they have not of knowledge anything. They follow not except assumption, and indeed, assumption avails not against the truth at all.} So you, O proponents of evolution and the like, you are the ones who follow assumption and pseudoscience, while the Quran recognizes nothing but science.

Once again, think, my brothers, that the introduction of evolution does not even try to laugh at itself and say that its speech does not contradict the Quran, but it responds to those who quote the Quran: "We are the ones of science, you have other interests, go deal with them elsewhere." The speech we have given in 6 minutes is very, very important, because it organizes your thoughts and makes you hold your head high as a Muslim, and see the ignorant in their true size. I wish everyone who wants to benefit and increase their knowledge in these matters would watch the episodes we presented their titles so that these rules are ingrained in your mind forever, if Allah wills.

Is Coacervation Science?

Secondly: Is coacervation and similar hypotheses science? I think we have answered this to some extent. Those who came up with such hypotheses started from the point that there is no Creator, there is only matter, there is nothing called the unseen. They have a complex about the conflict between religion and science, they have erased religion and have not sought a true religion based on science. In the end, to explain the universe and life, they ended up with their foolish unseen and superstitions.

Why do they say coacervation? To convince you that the cell you see is complex and well-organized, and everything is in its place, and you see in it the traces of Allah's power, that this cell could have come by chance from simple things that do not need a Creator. They are lost and have a complex about the conflict and denial of the Creator, so they search for any explanation, no matter how foolish, misleading, superficial, and ignorant, to explain the great, precise creation, as we have shown in many episodes, any sensible person without a psychological complex about the true religion would say with it: {Our Lord, You did not create this in vain, glory be to You [far above such a thing]; then protect us from the punishment of the Fire.}

But the question is: Why do we see among us people who imitate them and repeat their words? Because these people do not understand their religion at all nor do they know anything about the comprehensive religious system based on science as we have explained, and they are psychologically defeated even if they are veiled, and even if one of them is named Iman, another is named Islam, and the third is named Ayah. And unfortunately, they do not understand Islam, faith, or the verses. And do not be deceived by one of them saying peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings, or swearing by Allah. Dear viewers, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings, welcome to a new episode of the program. So, who is James Tour? Is he a Muslim? No. Why do you refer to his words? For one reason only, to show our people who say to you: "This is a scientific program and it provides you with scientific revision," that they actually bring the words of respected scientists based on evidence and do not go looking for any of the fabrications of pseudoscience that cast doubt on creation, as we have shown with the fool previously?

I am not telling you to listen to James Tour's words so that you can imitate him and rent your mind to him. No. We are the fiercest enemies of renting the mind to anyone. Rather, I am telling you to listen to James Tour's words about the wonders of the cell's composition and judge for yourself. This man, we have put a part of his lecture in which he cautiously refutes what is called the theory of evolution, so that he is not exposed to the fierce attack of the Darwinian lobby. In the lecture that was recently published for him, although it was recorded in 2019, James Tour talks about the composition of bacteria that the Spanish make you think is simple, and he talks about the impossibility of bacteria coming by chance, as it is the simplest cell, and that all the scientists on earth cannot even manufacture the basic components of the cell in the first place to think of injecting life into it.

And he explains why time never helps in the formation of even a simple protein by chance, because proteins and carbohydrates and all cell components are not dynamically favored, meaning they have high entropy, meaning the more you leave them, the more they decompose and do not form on their own. So, do not be deceived by the subject of millions and billions of years.

James Tour alone has more than 140 patents and real scientific publications in which he talks about real experimental science through the manufacture of compounds and the use of nanotechnology and others. He has publications in numbers that are multiples of the priests of pseudoscience such as Richard Dawkins and Lawrence Krauss, whose most popular products are not useful science or pure science or anything useful at all, but are based on deception and superstition, as we have shown, such as the book "The God Delusion" and "The Blind Watchmaker" and "A Universe from Nothing." And their inventions are to misguide people and convince them that they are chemical waste in a universe that came by chance.

Our people go and leave the words of James Tour and others and look for any pseudoscience from anyone, and when you say that God has spoken, they say to you: "This is a scientific program, you have other interests, go and search in other channels." So, if you are psychologically defeated and rent your minds to the West, why did you not rent it to someone of the caliber of James Tour instead of the priests of pseudoscience? May Allah help us.

Go and listen to the episodes we mentioned and judge for yourselves and work on your affairs a bit in these critical issues.
