Episode 25 - Warning About a Dangerous Belief: Thinking Ill of God While Thinking Well of Those Who Disbelieve in Him!!
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and may Allah bless you with goodness, dear brothers.
Having a Bad Opinion of Allah and a Good Opinion of Those Who Disbelieve in Him
Some people think that the evidence of Allah's existence and the truth of His religion is not certain and clear enough. This talk becomes evident when an event like the death of an atheist occurs, and you see people who pray for him and seek forgiveness for him. We say to them: It is not permissible to say this, and they respond to you by saying, "And what do you know about what is in his heart? He may have tried, sought, and striven but was not convinced of the existence of Allah, the Exalted, and thus you cannot judge what is in his heart."
Excuse me, brothers, this topic is vast and complex and requires several episodes, but I will say here briefly and quickly: When we say that the disbeliever is not excused for his denial of Allah, the Exalted, we have a good opinion of Allah and a bad opinion of those who disbelieve in Him. While you, when you say that perhaps he sought the truth and did not find it, beware, you might be having a bad opinion of Allah, the Exalted, in that, oh poor one, you have a good opinion of those who disbelieve in Him.
The Decisive Proof
Allah, the Exalted, cannot make the evidence of His existence insufficient, incomplete, unclear, and not comprehensible, and then hold people accountable for believing in His existence and the truth of His religion and enter them into Paradise and Hell. Allah, the Exalted, is the One who says: "Say, 'Then to Allah belongs the conclusive argument.'" As in Surah Al-An'am. What does the conclusive argument mean? The argument that reaches its intended purpose, the compelling, clear, complete, and perfect argument for everyone with a sound heart and mind.
The Cause of Misguidance: Following Desires
Know that they only follow their desires; this is their diagnosis. They are followers of desires, not people who sought the truth and did not find it. Allah completes the verse: "And who is more astray than one who follows his desire without guidance from Allah? Indeed, Allah does not guide the wrongdoing people." So this is the sequence of events: They are wrongdoers, they have wronged themselves, so Allah has sealed their hearts, reaching a stage where they do not guide themselves to what is right nor do they respond to the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him.
And Allah, the Exalted, says: "But they followed their desires without knowledge." Without knowledge, the matter is not that he studied the subject objectively and concluded that there is no god or that Islam is not correct, but he is a follower of desire, a follower of desire.
Conditions of Faith: Mental and Heart Health
Therefore, it is a real tragedy when you see someone who claims to be a caller to Islam and speaks to the masses and excuses an atheist who has been calling to atheism for decades, saying that he may say to Allah, the Exalted, on the Day of Judgment: "O Lord, I was not a philosopher nor a theologian, I was a physicist." Does faith in Allah require a deep understanding of philosophy and theology? No, our brothers, faith in Allah, the Exalted, requires only two things: mental health and heart health. This is what all the texts of the Quran and the Sunnah indicate in this regard.
- Mental Health: If a person is insane, he is not accountable. If he is of sound mind, something else is required of him.
- Heart Health: There should be no arrogance in him, no following of desires, no heart diseases that cause him to harm himself.
The Contradiction of the Muslim Who Excuses the Atheist
And if you are a Muslim, will you be convinced by what Allah and His Messenger have said, or are you not convinced by these evidences? Not convinced by what Allah and His Messenger have said, despite the fact that you speak about verses that have a hundred interpretations? Clear, decisive, and conclusive verses, verses that indicate that Allah's argument is complete and that the denial of Allah, the Exalted, is a matter that indicates arrogance and heart disease.
If you are a denier of these verses, then come with us on a journey of certainty, and we will walk with you step by step to prove that the existence of Allah, the Exalted, is a clear, decisive, certain, and conclusive matter, and that all the doubts raised against it are silly, flimsy, and have no value, as we will prove in detail by the grace of Allah, the Exalted.
But you consider yourself a Muslim and claim to be Muslim, and then you mix and confuse the lack of accountability, and we say to you that Allah said: "Then to Allah belongs the conclusive argument," Allah said: "But know that they only follow their desires," you come to excuse those who disbelieve in Allah and have a bad opinion of the Lord of the Worlds that He made the evidence of His religion insufficient and hold people accountable for that, and you have a good opinion of those who disbelieve in Allah, the Exalted. You are indeed not consistent with yourself, not consistent with yourself.
Brothers, read the Quran, and you will find that the problem is with the receiver, not with the lack of evidence, not with the lack of proof. Faith is not a purely emotional and submissive matter. And you, as a Muslim, have chosen for yourself to submit, but you see that other people are excused if they do not submit, even if one of them has lived for a hundred years. This is a tragedy, brothers. "Their messengers said to them, 'Is there any doubt about Allah, the Creator of the heavens and the earth?'" This is a matter of innate, rational, evidentiary, and natural certainty, not emotional submission.
Advice and Conclusion
O people, I strongly advise those who have confusion and deficiency in this matter to review the episode that we will publish, we will republish it, God willing, it is titled: "Is Allah Hidden Does That Mean His Existence Is Not Certain?" Unfortunately, this matter has become such that some of those who claim to be Islamic callers and have an audience promote the idea that we believe in Allah, but others, if they do not believe in Allah, they may be excused. And this, by Allah, brothers, is in contradiction with the texts of the Quran and the Sunnah, a clear and explicit contradiction, as we will explain in upcoming episodes, God willing.
The conclusion of this episode: If you read the clear verses that indicate that Allah's argument is complete, conclusive, and decisive, and that there is no doubt in His existence, and that He has made the evidence of His existence and His religion a complete and conclusive evidence, and then you excuse those who disbelieve in Allah, beware, you are not being just. You are having a good opinion of the disbelievers and a bad opinion of the Lord of the Worlds that He did not make the evidence of His existence and His religion a complete evidence.
Remember the saying of Allah, the Exalted: "And the verses and warnings do not avail a people who do not believe." The verses are many and clear, the cosmic verses and the clear, compelling, rational, and innate verses of the Quran, but if one has decided not to believe, the verses will not avail him nor benefit him. And Allah, the Exalted, knows best. Follow with us the mentioned episode and peace be upon you.
