Addendum - Announcement of the Start of Translating Journey to Certainty and Women Series

Announcement of the First Phase Completion (Transcription)

Noble people, by the grace of Allah Almighty, the first phase of the translation project, which is the transcription of the fifty-three episodes published so far from the Journey of Certainty, has been completed. The volunteer brothers have exerted a great deal of effort in proofreading the automatic transcription, segmenting the phrases, and synchronizing them, may Allah reward them with goodness and make their work an ongoing charity in their scale of good deeds.

Now, if you go back to the episodes of the Journey of Certainty, you will find the synchronized text on all of them.

Benefits of Synchronized Transcription

This has many benefits, by the permission of Allah:

1. A solid foundation for the translation project: Firstly, it is a solid foundation from which we can start the project of translating into other languages.
2. Increased visibility and appearance of episodes: Secondly, increasing the visibility and spread of the episodes through Search Engine Optimization, as their presence in this form makes them appear first on search engines when searching for certain words and questions related to their topics.
3. Availability of episodes for people with special needs: Thirdly, the third benefit is that the episodes are now available for the deaf brothers and those with hearing impairments, as they can read the text and at the same time see the references and illustrations, which is also beneficial.

Impact of the Episodes and the Necessity of Translation

And know, my brothers, that by the grace of Allah Almighty, we continuously receive comments such as: "I have returned to Islam after watching these episodes," "All my worries have been lifted and my faith has been strengthened after these episodes," "Doubts that were troubling me have been dispelled after watching the episodes," whether it is the Journey of Certainty series or the Woman series. So, you can imagine how, if these episodes reach Muslims and non-Muslims in different languages, and if Allah wills to bless them and accept them from us.

Returning to Complete the Series

We have stopped following up on the two series due to the circumstances of the pandemic, between episodes about the pandemic, scientific research, following up on university lectures, and other personal commitments. But we have a near return to complete the Woman series and then continue the Journey of Certainty, by the permission of Allah Almighty.

Opening the Door for Volunteering for the Translation Phase

Today, dear people, we open the door for volunteering for the phase of translating from Arabic to other languages, which is the long-awaited project. We hardly publish anything without seeing someone demanding translation into other languages, even in the episodes about the Coronavirus pandemic. Today, we start with what has been long awaited.

Required Roles for Volunteers

These groups include:

1. Translators.
2. Linguistic proofreaders.
3. Scientific consultants: specialists in life sciences so that their translation of terms is as accurate as possible.
4. Sharia consultants: specialists in creed and specialists in logic if available, which is also beneficial.
5. Project coordinators.

We will start translating into languages where volunteers are available in the roles mentioned above, by the permission of Allah Almighty.

Need for Time and Experience, Not Money

Once again, dear people, what we need is not the donation of money, because when we announced the transcription project for Arabic, many brothers were ready to donate financially, and we said to them and we say to you: May Allah bless your money and accept your good intentions, but what we need is only the donation of time and the donation of experience.

Here, the first phase has been completed by the efforts of serious volunteers, and we hope that the second phase will also be completed, by the permission of Allah Almighty, without the need for funds. We will put a registration model for you in the first comments for those who find in themselves the ability to commit to long-term work. We will also publish the model in a separate post, by the permission of Allah Almighty.

Call for Previous Translators

As for the brothers who were sending us translations into different languages, we received translations in English, French, Turkish, Kurdish, and others. We hope that these brothers will register in the model and send their translations to the supervisory team again, because honestly, I do not keep a detailed and organized archive. So, may Allah bless you, register again and send these translations.

Closing Supplication

Finally, for those who will not participate in the translation, this, my brothers and sisters, is our work together, me and you, and everyone has a role. So, do not forget us in the goodness of your supplications that Allah may bless, facilitate, and preserve this project and spread it in the two worlds, and that He may accept it from us and from you, and that we may rejoice in seeing its good deeds in our scale of good deeds on the Day of Judgment, and that Allah may gather us with the beloved Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, whom we spread his religion, defend his Sunnah, and love him and his religion to the worlds.
