The transgressor often transgresses and oppresses others because he is taken by pride in sin, wanting to honor himself at the expense of others, so humiliation comes to him from Allah the Almighty. But if you are oppressed and are patient for the sake of Allah and do not respond to oppression with oppression, then you have the hadith of the Prophet, peace be upon him: "Three things he swore by," and among them: "And no servant is wronged but that he is patient with it except that Allah increases him thereby in honor."
Therefore, my brothers and sisters, there are four reasons for humiliation: disbelieving in the signs of Allah, abandoning the callers to Allah and leaving them to suffer oppression for their call, disobedience, and transgression. Let us beware of them so that Allah may honor us. Whoever wants honor, to Allah belongs all honor.
