To Disfigure Your Faces
Peace be upon you,
Introduction: The Impact of the Al-Aqsa Flood
One of the most significant outcomes of the Al-Aqsa Flood, the Flood of Dignity from Gaza, is that it humbled the Zionists, shamed them, saddened them, made them feel overwhelmed, and erased their deterrence without return. This is the beginning of the journey of victory, to break the deterrence of your enemy.
The Promise of the Hereafter in Surah Al-Isra
I ponder these meanings as I read Allah's words in Surah Al-Isra: {So when the promise of the Hereafter comes, We shall bring you forth for judgment as you used to bring forth others in the past. And indeed, We have made some of you a trial for others: will you be patient? And your Lord is Ever Watchful.} [Surah Al-Isra, 7:16]
Explanation of "To Disfigure Your Faces"
What does it mean to disfigure your faces? Ibn Ashur said: "And the disfiguring of faces is to make them miserable," meaning to impose causes of misery and sadness upon you until it shows on your faces, because what a person feels of grief, sadness, or joy and happiness, its effect appears on the face more than any other part of the body.
Ibn Kathir said: "Meaning, they will humiliate you and overpower you."
The Promise is Fulfilled in Current Events
All of this has happened to the Zionists, praise be to Allah. They have been struck with gloom, sadness, grief, humiliation, and subjugation until it showed on their faces and erased their deterrence. And every time they commit crimes in bombing the people of Gaza, they increase the degradation and humiliation in the hearts of the Muslims.
Conclusion: The Beginning of the Journey of Victory
Therefore, my brothers, the Al-Aqsa Flood has created a rift in the Zionist entity that cannot be repaired, and this is the beginning of the journey of victory, by the permission of Allah. We may go through labor pains with increasing pain, and victory may be delayed from what the impatient expect, but we are at the beginning of the road. So rejoice and spread joy and work to be a part of this victory.
Peace be upon you.
