In the name of Allah, all praise is due to Allah, and peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah. Dear beloved, peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.

I will present at the end of this speech a proposal for Dr. Mohamed Morsi to contribute to saving the nation, but first, I would like to answer a question: How should we, who reject the democratic path, deal with the presidency of Dr. Mohamed Morsi?

Here, it is necessary to emphasize that the democracy we are talking about is legislative democracy, which gives humans the right to legislate in matters of Allah's rule. The democracy that the West wants to export to the Islamic world is a creed, a way of thinking, and a way of life alternative to Sharia, to subjugate the Islamic world to the international system.

So, how should we, who reject the democratic path, deal with the presidency of Mohamed Morsi? This is a pressing question at this stage. Dr. Mohamed Morsi is about to become the official president of Egypt, and the masses of Muslims see this as a great victory and pin their hopes on it. We must have a stance towards this. So, after seeking help from Allah, I would like to summarize the stance that I see as the required Islamic stance as follows:

The Stance of Those Who Reject the Democratic Path Towards the Presidency of Dr. Morsi

Detachment from Personal Ambitions and Prioritizing the Interest of the Religion

First: The Muslim who is sincere in serving his religion must detach himself from personal ambitions and not let the provocation from his opponents in methodology drive him to seek victory for himself under the pretext of victory for the truth, knowing that this victory for the self is harmful to the interest of the religion.

I say this because it is expected that the debates will increase between those who reject democratic work and its supporters, and it will take the form of dialectics, schadenfreude, and victory for the self: "Democracy has brought us to power." What power? It is nothing but an honorary position with no value, but you envy us. What do we envy you for? You will not be able to change anything. And do you change anything, you who do nothing but criticize?

Thus, the debate continues, turning into fertile ground for Satan to sow seeds of hatred and victory for the self. It may reach a stage where some wish for the failure of this presidential experiment, not to save people's creeds from the pollutants of democracy and turn away from it to the correct methodology, but to prove their intellectual superiority and the correctness of their predictions and to gloat over their opponents in methodology, deceiving themselves that they are victorious for the truth.

I advise myself and my brothers to advise each other with sincerity and prioritize the interest of the religion. This prevents the phenomenon we mentioned and also prevents its opposite, which is concealing the truth and following the general trend to appease it, or to appear moderate, or to remove from ourselves the suspicion of competition with those who differ in methodology.

Continuing to Expose the Corruption of the Democratic Path

It is necessary, my brothers, to continue to expose the corruption of the democratic path according to Sharia, and to alert people that our problem with this path is not in what the president can or cannot achieve in terms of worldly or even religious reforms, but in the illegitimacy of this path according to the Sharia evidence, and in the major harms resulting from it, which outweigh any partial reforms.

We have a huge task ahead of us, which is to address the ideas and conceptual errors that have stuck in people's minds as a result of the Islamic parties' engagement in democratic work, especially since the fitna of democracy is expected to intensify temporarily as a result of this apparent victory.

However, there are two things that must be considered: The first matter: It is necessary to invoke the intention in this work that we want to correct people's perceptions and understanding of their religion, we want to correct people's perceptions and understanding of their religion so that they may meet their Lord, the Almighty, with a sound heart, and not to engage in these actions with the intention of overcoming those who differ in methodology, otherwise, we should not expect Allah, the Almighty, to bless our call.

The second matter: This mentioned task is part of the tasks of the owners of the correct methodology, by the permission of Allah, who reject democracy, and they should not limit their role to it, but it is necessary to have a comprehensive call that we talked about in the previous article titled "What is the alternative? Part two," the call that organizes the creeds, behavior, and transactions with wisdom and good advice.

Distinguishing Between Islamic Parties and Enemies of Sharia

This was the first point of the proposed stance towards the presidency of Dr. Mohamed Morsi. Our disagreement with the parties that have taken a democratic path is not a minor secondary disagreement, for we firmly believe that this path is a form of shirk, and we consider the statements of many of those who follow this path regarding the recourse to ballot boxes and positive constitutions, the inclusion of secularists, the adoption of democracy in legislation, and the non-overthrow of its rules, we consider their statements in this regard to be extremely misguided and dangerous to the religion of their owner, and that they undermine the foundations of the religion and waste the cause of servitude.

And while we differentiate between the act and the actor, and the limitation of our scientific merchandise and the concentration of efforts confine us to blaming the acts and emphasizing criticism of them without addressing the ruling of the actor and the ruling of those who followed this path and supported and called for it.

With all of this, my brothers, we do not equate these Islamic parties with those who openly and blatantly oppose Allah and His Sharia. And this distinction should be reflected in the way we deal with each of the two groups. Therefore, we call upon our brothers not to put the two groups in one pot, and then use terms of apostasy, disbelief, and enmity of Sharia.

We do not underestimate the serious impact of the mistakes of the Islamic parties on people's perceptions and understanding of their religion, but we consider that their mistakes pollute the ideas and beliefs of the common Muslims and their elites, hinder the project of renaissance, empower the enemies of Islam, and give the ignorant systems a kind of legitimacy in the eyes of the people, and prolong their stay.

However, it is not fair to consider these parties as originally hostile to the religion of Allah, the Almighty, but we still have hope that large numbers of their members will be won over to the pure Islamic project, and that there will be reviews and purifications within them. Addressing the members of these parties with this hope in the hearts is more likely to achieve the desired effect.

The democratic path has produced its fruits, and yet its followers still defend it, and many of them will continue to defend it no matter what happens. Perhaps one of the most important reasons for this is their fear of the schadenfreude of their opponents, so they raise the noise to convince themselves and those around them of the usefulness of this path in which they have spent much of their lives.

Our role in addressing these parties is not to abolish them, not to marginalize them, but to strengthen the missionary aspect of their work, in which they have made commendable efforts and achieved good fruits. Our role is to say to the members of these parties: This is your field, this is your work, the mosques, Islamic centers, and spreading among the people and calling them with the correct evidence from the Quran and the Sunnah. You have made commendable efforts, good means, and a pure heart in this. Leave this democratic work that has hindered your efforts and harmed many of them in the service of the falsehood of democracy. Leave it, distinguish yourselves from falsehood and its people, and let us work under a pure banner. Return to what the call requires, and we are with you in it, we will open our hearts, arms, pockets, and support you with our time, effort, advice, and defend you and not hand you over to our enemy and your enemy. This is our role with the members of the parties.

Possible Interactions of the Military Council with the President and Islamic Parties

The third point: Two possibilities, and Allah knows best, appear on the horizon for the interaction of the military council and the Western powers behind it with the president and the Islamic parties in the coming phase.

First Possibility: Taming Islamic Parties to Serve the Western Agenda

The first possibility, which we consider the weaker of the two, is that these forces will tie the powers granted to the president and the Islamic parties that will engage in democratic work in the next phase. They will tie these powers to the readiness of these parties to play a role in subjugating the country to international policies and combating what they call "radical Islam," meaning they want to strike the currents attributed to Islamic work against each other.

However, our conviction that this is what our enemies want from us does not mean that we should execute it, and that the rejecters of democracy should engage in a material struggle with its supporters. Rather, the owners of the pure methodology should provoke democracy to provoke it into the trap and to adopt justifications to strike them even if harm occurs.

Therefore, the owners of the pure methodology of the Islamic parties, we used to say in the days of the criminal regimes hostile to religion, open enmity, that the callers should bear the harm and not engage in acts that tarnish the image of the call and stifle it in its cradle. Patience in this regard to the mistakes and provocations of the Islamic parties, patience in this regard is more appropriate and more deserving for the purists in these parties to return to their senses and refuse to execute the plans of their enemies.

Therefore, confrontation with the Islamic parties is never an option, and we emphasize in all of this the necessity of continuing to clarify the correct methodology and clarify the deviation and corruption of the path of democracy and concessions, a scientific clarification aimed at doing good to the opponent and overcoming him with the language "I am to you a sincere and trustworthy advisor."

However, the possibility that forces of evil will attempt to harness democratic Islam to play this role in combating radical Islam is a weak possibility, and the majority of the members of the parties reject playing this role.

Second Possibility: Exploiting the Islamic Presidency to Pass Military Policies

Therefore, the second possibility remains, which is the more apparent one: that the military council wanted to return the country to the eras of oppression and subjugation to the West, plundering the resources, and combating the growing radical Islam. However, he saw this task difficult in light of the Egyptian people's rejection of injustice after the revolution. He saw that the best way is to leave the Islamic candidate to reach the presidency after a tug-of-war and manipulation by the military and media distortion that made the people feel that the decisive battle that determines the winner from the loser is who will be the president.

And now, after the Islamic candidate elected by the people and representing their will has reached the presidency, in a legitimate way according to their terms, a sense of reassurance will spread about the course of affairs in the country as long as the elected president sits on the presidential chair. Here, the military begins to implement its policies and premeditated plans, taking advantage of the state of numbness and the false euphoria of victory that has affected the general public, and taking advantage of the stripping of the president's powers.

If the military fights what they call radical Islam, if they fight the growing strong call of Islam, it will be difficult to object to them because their answer at that time will be ready: "We are not fighting Islam but extremism, otherwise the president himself is Islamic and we allowed an Islamic president to come to power." This will be their answer.

And when the military continues with the policy of plundering the country's resources, tightening the noose on Gaza, pumping gas to the Zionist entity, and making the Egyptian economy dependent on the American economy and ostensibly relying on its aid, all these policies will be implemented under the umbrella of an Islamic presidency that came by the will of the deceived people.

We expect unjust decisions to be made, passed, and implemented, but this time they will have the stamp "Made under the shadow of an Islamic presidency." And we will not expect more from the president whose powers have been stripped than issuing resonant statements of condemnation and denunciation, and perhaps he will also go out with the people in marches demanding the military to stop its excesses.

The Danger of Legitimizing the Corrupt System

Therefore, we have said and we still say and will say that the acceptance of Islamists to the presidency in this corrupt system, in addition to the dangerous doctrinal pitfalls, one of its worst consequences is the legitimization of this corrupt system that does not want good for the country and the people, but rather wants to consolidate its foundations and take the Islamists as a fig leaf to cover its nakedness.

And he has prepared for this trap well with several steps, including:

  • Exhausting the energies of the people and the Islamists in the theatrics of parliaments and elections.
  • Accustoming the Islamists to silence about injustice to preserve the illusory gains, as we used to see in the massacre of Muhammad Mahmud and the massacre of Al-Abbasiya.

The military council carries out these massacres through its thugs, and at the same time calls the parties to meet, so the parties do not act more than condemnation and denunciation and temporarily suspend their electoral campaigns in protest of these practices, then return to the negotiating table with the military and have been tamed to accept this humiliating situation.

And all of this, God knows best, is to accustom the president and the Islamic parties to accept this miserable situation in the coming days. And this great corruption, my brothers, this great corruption alone, the corruption of covering the grim face of evil with an Islamic mask, is greater than all the alleged benefits that can be achieved.

And we fear that the president's Fajr prayer in the mosque and his memorization of the Quran and his renunciation of his salary for the public good, we fear that all of this will become an additional decoration for this mask. And this is the price of accepting to work within a system of evil instead of distinguishing oneself from it. And the Islamic peoples who follow their emotions and seek any imaginary victory overlook all of this and imagine that the military simply succumbed to their will, and there is no power except in Allah.

This is the most likely scenario we have in the foreseeable future, and God knows best. However, we reiterate that the cunning of the enemies of Islam should not be our greatest concern, but what we fear is the loss of God's company.

Brothers, there is a sin we have forgotten and must pay for, and it is the sin of abandoning the Sharia and the series of concessions I mentioned in a previous speech titled "Now Dr. Morsi has won, what do you think?" I see this sin forgotten in the midst of celebrating the victory of the new president, but I repeat and emphasize that we Islamists have not repented from this sin, but most of us are still following the mirage of democracy and presidential elections that have only increased our loss of the Sharia and forgetfulness of it. So, will we review our accounts and look at our negligence during the past year and a half, and know that abandoning the Sharia is a disgrace that can only be washed away by supporting it, and that abandoning the Sharia will never turn into a victory.

A Message and Proposal to Dr. Mohamed Morsi

Finally, a message to Dr. Mohamed Morsi: You, Dr. Morsi, can contribute to saving the nation after all this. Yes, I am not speaking here about Morsi the president who saves Egypt through a presidential position whose legitimacy stands on the democratic system and can do so indirectly for the military, but I am speaking about Morsi who will stand next Saturday to take the oath before the Constitutional Court. Dr. Mohamed Morsi will be able to contribute to saving the nation on that day. How?

If Dr. Morsi says: "I swear by Allah the Almighty that I will be sincere to my Lord, my nation, and my people, that I will uphold the Sharia and declare its sovereignty, that I will rule by the Quran which I memorize, and that I will nullify anything that contradicts it from the constitution, laws, and legislative democratic principles." At that moment, Dr. Morsi will lose the presidency, which is not to be regretted, because he will not be allowed to reach this position with this oath, and he will not be able to do any of what was mentioned if he reaches this position. Some will describe him with descriptions that were used to describe the prophets of Allah before.

However, Dr. Morsi will win his worldly life and the hereafter at that moment, because he will revive in the nation the cause of the Sharia, which the Islamists themselves have killed, and he will wipe away the disgrace of its abandonment. At that moment, he will contribute to saving the nation and its rise.

We ask Allah the Almighty, the Lord of the Noble Throne, to guide all those working for Islam to what He loves and is pleased with, to return us to the truth in a beautiful return, and to use us and not replace us. And Allah is the Most High, the Most Knowing. Peace be upon you, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
