Why Isn't Gaza Victorious?
Greetings
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah.
Introduction
Due to my conviction and faith beginning to shake with everything, unfortunately, and may Allah reward you with goodness.
This message from my brothers, I believe, represents a number of people, and it shows that we have not yet understood our Islam. We have three points to address:
- Why does Allah not prevent injustice?
- Where is the victory?
- Are the Jews better than the Muslims, and is that why they are victorious over them?
1. Why does Allah not prevent injustice?
When you ask where Allah is regarding the injustice that is happening, I ask you: Has Allah Almighty made a promise and broken it? Has Allah told you that this world is a place of reward, so the oppressed must be avenged against the oppressor in it?
Have you not read Surah Al-Buruj? People believed, and the disbelievers dug a trench for them and burned them alive until death. Yet, Allah Almighty said about these believers: {Indeed, those who have believed and done righteous deeds will have gardens beneath which rivers flow. That is the great attainment.} (Surah Al-Buruj 85:11)
The great attainment! Those who die in obedience are victorious, indeed greatly victorious. Their enemies wanted to turn them away from their religion but could not, so they resorted to killing them. They were killed, but after they had already defeated their enemies by breaking their will and thwarting their plots.
If this speech, my brother, does not satisfy you that the death of a Muslim upon his creed and steadfast in his religion is not a victory, then this is your problem. You do not want to submit to the reality that this world is a place of trial, not a place of reward, and you do not want to submit to the centrality of the Hereafter in the life of the believer. You reject these truths; this is a problem that truly requires you to reunderstand Islam.
Then, will the oppressor and the oppressed become dust, with no return and no reckoning, O brothers? Is the Hereafter not part of your calculations?
Where is the saying of Allah Almighty? Did Allah promise that He would not test? On the contrary, He promised that He would test, saying: {You will surely be tested in your wealth and yourselves, and you will surely hear from those who were given the Scripture before you and from the polytheists much abuse. But if you are patient and fear Allah, indeed, that is of the matters [worthy] of determination.} (Surah Al-Imran 3:186) And Allah Almighty said: {That [is so]. And if Allah had willed, He could have taken vengeance upon them [Himself], but [He ordered it] that He might test some of you by means of others.} (Surah Muhammad 47:4)
May Allah grant patience to the people of Gaza, and you here in your place are doubting. They are suffering, and we see with that the mercy of Allah in their steadfastness, and you are watching and not suffering like them, yet your faith is shaken, O brother.
Fine, you have removed from your faith, so what have you benefited your brothers? Nothing. You become a new worry and a new stab in the back of your nation, whereas if you occupy yourself with a project that benefits your nation and heals its wounds with calling to Islam and reviving the spirit of dignity, then you will support them and support the oppressed, even if after some time.
Praise be to Allah, there are brothers following me from Gaza, and I am honored by them, and there are children who participated in the Quran competitions that we organized from Gaza, and I draw closer to Allah by making their religion beloved to them so that they may remain steadfast until they meet their Lord pleased with them by His permission, and I ask Him, Glorified is He, to help us to support them and lift the affliction from them and from the nation of Islam.
O you who care for your brothers in Gaza, occupy yourself with their benefit and the benefit of the oppressed, not with objecting to the Lord of the Worlds because you have not understood His religion nor submitted to the reality that the world is a place of trial, not a place of reward.
2. Where is the victory?
Why do the Muslims in Gaza not achieve victory? I ask you: victory over whom? Over the Zionists? The Zionists are merely agents representing the enemies of Islam, part of the global system. Otherwise, the people of Gaza are at war with the international system and the Zionists of the Arabs, and so is the war in every place where Muslims are oppressed.
{If you support Allah, He will support you and plant your feet firmly.} (Surah Muhammad 47:7) This is a war of faith, disbelief, and hypocrisy, in which Gaza and others do not represent the Muslim nation.
So, does the people of Gaza pay the price for the negligence of the Muslims? And where is {And no bearer of burdens shall bear the burden of another} (Surah An-Najm 53:38)? Rather, we say: whoever dies from the people of Gaza in faith, then Allah has chosen him. {And those days [of varying lots] We alternate among the people that Allah may make evident those who believe and may take to Himself from among you martyrs. And Allah does not like the wrongdoers.} (Surah Al-Imran 3:140)
And He takes from you martyrs. The believer who is killed in the cause of Allah attains his full and complete reward, and Allah honors him and bestows favor upon him. But the rest of the nation is not qualified for victory until it is rewarded with it. The rest of the nation is not qualified for victory until it is rewarded with it.
The nation has not dealt with the reality that it is in a war of faith and disbelief until it deserves victory. Victory, O honorable ones, has causes that I explained in the word "Are we close to victory?" And we as Muslims have not taken anything from the causes of this victory, and we always make excuses that the matter is not in our hands and that those who rule over us and control our countries do not fear Allah. By Allah, what we do as Muslims ourselves is more dangerous than what our enemies inside and outside do to us.
{But if you are patient and fear Allah, their scheming will not harm you in the least.} (Surah Al-Imran 3:186) But there is a problem with patience and piety. Victory, O honorable ones, has causes that we have not taken, neither as a nation nor as the people of Gaza, for what is in the nation and in Gaza and elsewhere of good, we have the righteous among us and among them, but there are causes for victory and there are obstacles, and the causes have not been taken nor the obstacles avoided.
Whoever is killed in faith and fights in the cause of Allah so that the word of Allah is the highest, he is killed without mixing, without mixing in this purpose so that the word of Allah is the highest, this is promised by Allah with the reward of the martyrs. As for the nation, it has not yet qualified for victory.
But many of those who say where is the victory of Allah, we see that he himself is a helper to the enemies of Islam, aiding the oppressors and being hypocritical with them in pursuit of money and status.
3. Are the Jews better than the Muslims, and is that why they are victorious over them?
Do we have a worse condition than the Jews, and is that why they are victorious over us? Fine, I want to ask you: when victory was lost in the Battle of Uhud and the polytheists were able to harm the army of the Prophet peace be upon him and the companions, did this mean that the polytheists were better than the Messenger of Allah and the companions? I seek refuge in Allah.
Fine, why did Allah not support them? Because victory has causes, and some of the companions disobeyed the command, which nullified the causes of victory. The believers are promised as a nation with victory if they achieve its causes, and if they do not achieve them, the upper hand will be for whoever is superior militarily and materially, whether among the believers or the disbelievers.
Nevertheless, those who were killed from the army of the Messenger of Allah peace be upon him as martyrs, Allah honored them and revealed concerning them: {And never think of those who have been killed in the cause of Allah as dead. Rather, they are alive with their Lord, receiving provision,} (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:154) and so is whoever is killed in the cause of Allah in our days.
Conclusion
In conclusion, O brothers, Gaza, Syria, Turkestan, Burma, Kashmir, the lands of the Muslims in general, whoever is killed among them patiently, seeking reward, uniting for Allah the Most High, adhering to His Sharia, steadfast in his religion, he is a winner whose will was not broken before the plots of the enemies of Islam collectively.
While we see people who claim to be Muslims, having millions and even billions of dollars, aiding the enemies of the nation against it and conspiring against the Muslims, they, even if they dwell in palaces and wear fine clothes and fly in airplanes and are surrounded by guards, they, by Allah, will remain with all of this humiliated, lowly, and subservient to the enemies of the religion.
We ask Allah to have mercy on our brothers in Gaza and all the oppressed Muslims, to grant them steadfastness in faith, to guide their hearts, to unite them upon the word of righteousness and piety, and to help us and the Muslims to support them and alleviate their suffering.
Peace be upon you and the mercy of Allah and His blessings.
